Data Provider error

Hello!

 

I have been using EFB for months successfully but since some days the data provider stops working during a flight suddenly. An error has occured.

I have to restart it again then it works for several minutes and then the same happens again. This about 3 to 4 times during a flight which is very annoying.

My FSX machine: Core i7 920@3,6 GHz, 6 GB RAM, HD4890, Win7 64bit

What have you changed since then? What kind of error happened? Can you please send me the logfiles to support@aivlasoft.com?

Hello Urs,

thank you for your prompt reply. I haven't changed anything since then, only updated EFB to the latest version, which is really fantastic.

Unfortunately the logfile in the aivlasoft directory is empty, is there another file anywhere else?

The application suddenly stops working, the default Win7 error message "Die Anwendung funktioniert nicht mehr" appears.

- did the installer for the EFB 1.1.0 run without any problems?

- as it looks there must be a very basic problem because EFB is not even starting.

- in any doubt please try to download the latest installer and run it again (don't use the update but the full installer)

The installation worked well but I will try it with the re-installation in the evening and tell you about it.
