  1. I've downloaded and installed version 1.60. I also reinstalled the Aerosoft fonts, which prevented me from starting the DU. NOTE: I did install the updated AirbusPFD2.ttf font. I confirmed I again had the version 1.51 DU start up problem with the Aerosoft fonts installed. Next, I installed the NEW 1.60 version and the DU starts up without any errors and I'm able to load a previous flight plan OK. So far so good. I'll try out the flight now... Well into the flight with no problems noted. Working as expected... Thanks Urs and Travis!
  2. Several people, including myself, have found that the following fonts cause the Display Unit to fail: AirbusPFD.ttf AirbusPFD2.ttf CDU.ttf (which apparently is a Captain Sim-installed font) CDU_WXR.TTF In my case, I copied the fonts to another folder for safe keeping, then I deleted the fonts. Once done, I was able to start up the DU without any issues. Adding them back in, and the problem returns. I have the Windows 10 UPGRADE OS. There may be other fonts that also lead to the problem...
  3. From another post I made: Good find Gerardo, I copied the Airbus True Type fonts to another folder for safe keeping. Then, I deleted them in my fonts folder. The fonts include: AirbusDisp.ttf AIrbusDisp2.ttf AirbusFCU.ttf AirbusISIS.ttf AirbusMCDUa.ttf AirbusMCDUb.ttf AirbusPFD.ttf AirbusPFD2.ttf I can confirm that the DU now runs on the Windows 10 UPGRADE. It did not run before deleting the files. THANK YOU FOR THE FIND!! EDIT: It's the AirbusPFD.ttf and AirbusPFD2.ttf fonts that cause the issue. Adding either one (or both) of these fonts bring the problem back. Removing both of these fonts and the DU problem goes away. Any of the other Airbus fonts are OK.
  4. If you have the Aerosoft Airbus installed, I found the AirbusPFD.ttf and AirbusPFD2.ttf fonts cause the DU issue. I copied these fonts to another folder for safe keeping. Then I deleted them from the available fonts. I now run DU without any issues. Adding either one (or both) of these fonts into the fonts folder bring the DU problem back.
