As others have recently discovered, we have found that Aivlasoft was incorrect in assuming that it is a Windows upgrade that is causing the EFB display unit to not start on Windows 10.
Instead, it is very specific fonts that break the EFB DU. This is why people have found that a clean install of Windows 10 instead of an upgrade will get the EFB working again. Obviously a clean install does not include the Aerosoft Airbus fonts.
I have found that simply deleting AirbusFCU.ttf (one of the 5 fonts installed by the airbus) enabled the EFB to start on Windows 10.
Knowing that, I strongly believe that the AivlasSoft should be able to issue a patch and really address this issue properly. There is no reason the EFB should be using that font file.
