  1. Sorry, I know this was discussed before, but I still have problems with the above. After updating to the new Navigraph file I get runway assignment problems e.g. Linz and Salzburg. The wpnavapt.txt shows

    Linz LOWL 08

    Linz LOWL 26

but dataprovider says 08/26 not assigned, infact 09,27,09L,27R are correct. I put this into the runways.txt file but still have no SID or STAR available.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks Peter

Maybe there is something fundamentally wrong. I looked at the EGLC Post and there was runways 10/28 instead of 09/27 and I have in the wpnavapt file for Sazburg 15/33 where it should be 16/34.

My mistake, the runway assignments changed; is there any trick that I still can use these airports with SIDs and STARs?

  2. I might look stupid as I once had everything set up perfectly. But now my Windows7 (FSX) started to crash a lot I reinstalled everything Win7 64 FSX etc.

For EFB I have a networked installation - Win7 FSX DataProvider and XP Display Unit.

I installed both with the newest version 1.3.2. The display unit does not give the option (1st screen) to aktivate IVAO nor to tick "show online traffic"

Where does the Displayunit look for IVAO data? It's too long ago that I had set it up.

    Thanks

    Peter

  3. Hi Lothar,

I assume your network is working; like same workgroup name etc the 2computers see each other. You have installed Dataprovider on FSX-PC, Displayunit on 2nd PC.

I have the distributed system running on Win 7/64 (Dataprovider/FSX) and WINXP (DisplayUnit).

If you go into the DisplayUnit, hit "System", then Folders and Links how does your first entry (Provider data folder) look?

    Mine is: \\Peter-PC\Users\Peter\AppData\Local\AvliaSoft\EFB\AvliaSoft.Efb.DataProvider.

And in Win7 you need to do everything as an Admin.

Let me know, if that helped.

    Peter

  4. Sorry to bother you with the next problem, but after fixing the startup of the dataprovider I get now regular FSX crashes. I even don't know if that is an EFB-problem.

    Description in Dataprovider

    Warning-DefWindProc (sConnected=true): Ausnahme von HRESULT:9xC000014B

    Thanks

    Peter

  5. Without changing anything all of a sudden I got the following error message when starting the dataprovider; display is on a 2nd PC.

Read user settings. Unknown type found.

    bei AivlaSoft.Efb.Common.Services.UserSettingsService.b()

    bei AivlaSoft.Efb.Common.Services.UserSettingsService.c(StringA_0,String A_1)

    bei yi.a(Boolean A_0)

    beiyj.e0

    bei wi.c0

    bei wi.h0

    bei wi.I0

    Thanks for the help
