You just need to activate a flight in EFB. Let's say LIPZ-EDDM, then activate, go to LIPZ ground, Airportinformation and double click in the empty field above General Info/Communications. you will see the file path for the LIPZ bgl. Peter

I wanted to fly from LIPX to LOWS. In LIPX I cannot chose a SID (greyed out) and in LOWS I can choose Arrival, but not Approach (greyed out). LIPX is scenery from NSS-Verona Villafranca, LOWS is from Digital Design. No failure message shown by the data provider, scenery update done. Thanks for the help Peter

Thanks, I tried that, but it did not work. Well I will try again. Peter It did not work. I have a 2PC setup, Opus sits on the FSX PC, so \\Peter-PC\OpusFSX\Themes was not accepted by the display unit. Is anyone here to give me a hint? Thanks Stupid me, it was a sharing problem.

I think I have everything ticked, Traffic, display AI and display online traffic (in case of flying IVAO). Maybe there is a problem with simconnect? Peter

Somehow my display unit (on 2nd PC) is not accepting the file location of my Opus FSX weather file; in my case \\Peter-PC\OpusFSX\Themes\OpusWeather.txt. Do I do something wrong? Thanks for the help. Peter

Urs, I did all that, but still cannot see traffic (stock aircraft, stock ai) on the display unit. I have no pilot software running, aircrafts can be seen on the AI aricraft monitor of the data provider. I tried for many days now with reinstall etc. but no success. Thanks Peter

Hi Urs, ups, yes I was connected over WLAN, now I have disabled 1 WLAN adapter and connected via LAN cabel. But I still don't see any traffic even so Multiplayer as well as online is ticked in the charts menu, no client pilot software running. Thanks Peter I can see traffic in the AI monitor.

New installation of FSX is really a pain Anyway I have distributed EFB on 2 Win7 PCs. When I start my flight everything works fine, but during the approach phase the display unit is loosing the connection to the server, especially flying online on IVAO. I have also noticed that it takes a very long time to load the display unit and have it connected to the dataserver; my former installation was much quicker. Thanks for the help. Peter

Yes I know, but I had it running with my former installation also Win7/XP. Now I can ping both ways and if I check name on the unit it shows "Ok host found". Now I got it to the point that it works at least sometimes.

Hi, I installed on a new PC, Dataprovider on FSX machine (Win7) and Display unit on 2nd PC (XP). Display Unit can only connect to the provider when the firewall is turned off on Win7 PC. In my firewall setting I allowed Dataprovider to communicate Home/Work as well as Public. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks Peter It seems that I have even bigger problems; display unit hangs with connecting data provider, host name found, so the connection works.

I do have the same problem. I downloaded the IVAO .dat files. Should they go into ....\AivlaSoft\EFB\UserData\Online\\IVAO? Thanks Peter

Hi, I know this or similar were already discussed several times, but my experiences changed over time. In the past most of the time I had no issue with displaying online-traffic. But over time it got bad. When I start at an airport, log into IVAO I can see traffic around me, but already after t/o the traffic disappears and does not come back even when parked at my destination. I look into the AI-Monitor, now traffic displayed, but I know for sure that there was plenty traffic around listening to the communications. I installed FS2Crew for the NGX; maybe this also stresses Simconnect? Anything I can do to improve that? Thanks Peter
