Hi Clive,

 

So short flight today.

That's the procedure I've followed :

- FL190 choosen as first CRZ Alt (both in the a/c and Flight plan AivlaSoft)

- Stable at FL190 deciding to change the CRZ Alt from FL190 to FL210 (check if you see in your Display unit of AivlaSoft the information "top of descent")

- Changing the CRZ Alt in my 737-700WL and reaching this new CRZ Alt

- Stable at FL210 I see of course the indication FL190+2000ft (written in blue)

- Going then in my route setup, changing the Cruise altitude to 21000 ft then Activate

- Coming back in the windows with the tools box and pressing the button Adjust CRZ Alt and the indications in blue dissapear and the new CRZ FL210 is now visible.

Imported FP set cruise altitude to FL280.

Started flight got to cruise altitude then I changed cruise to FL290 on route setup page and pressed active

then in 'toolbox' pressed he 'adjust CRZ alt' button. It presses but CRZ still states FL280.

 

I'm sure its operator error on my part and, I know it will be in the manual

 

But why when I press the button in the tool box does nothing change.

What's the real cruise alt of your a/c when you change the CRZ Alt from FL280 to FL290 in your Display Unit ?

Go to the top of your windows'route and then track with the linker button of your mouse the top windows to the bottom and your frequencies will appear.

Hello everybody,

 

One suggestion :

 

For those who have the problem with the PMDG 737 NGX have you already tried this suggestion :

 

Run data provider AND display unit on the PC running FSX and then run the display unit on your other network PC. Stay running the two (or more) display unit during your flight and check if you see the traffic on your network display unit.

Okay well, I'm having the same issue but on my arrival charts.

 

I'm on the trial with AIRAC 1108 installed.

I'm running the Display Unit on my laptop and the Data Provider on my desktop which has FSX.

 

Can someone help me out?

AIRAC 1108 OK but ... Revision 1 or 2 ? If you use Revision 1 go back to the Navigraph site and download the Revision 2

So the problem is resolved.

 

What I've done ?

 

Simply de-installed the Mega Airport Scenery. Restarted the PC then running Data Provider and rescan the sceneries.

 

After the scan re-installed the Mega Scenery EBBR and re-running the Data Provider and his FSX scenery Data Update. And now I see the correct frequency for the runway 25L.

 

Sorry for the disturbing but I think it should be a good tip for those guys confronting with same issues.

Check done and unfortunately I don't have any old BGL files for Brussels Airport.

 

Will check if I've the same problem with CORK Airport and his rwy 35. Just checked and there ... no problem the new ILS frequency is correct on my Display Unit.

One more information. On the Display Unit when I open Airports Information of EBBR then Communications and Landing aids 110.3 is written. Perhaps it should be corrected there ..

So just tested the approach EBBR 25L on my Display Unit located on the same PC as FSX and of course my Data Provider and the same result as described at the beginning.

I don't unterstand what is wrong.

 

On the settings of Data Provider "Folders" my Navigraph data is well on my folder FSX\AivlaSoft and the AIRAC Cycle 1107 is well recognized when I run Data Provider.

Thanks for this precision.

To be clear : 110.30 is indeed the frequency of EBBR scenery coming from FSX but the scenery of AEROSOFT gives normally the new one 110.35. I don't understand then why via Data Provider and the options FSX scenery data update this frequency isn't change in EFB Display unit.

Perhaps other users have the same issue.

I'm not sure all the changing of those AEROSOFT airports are correctly reflected in Display unit (another example with the AEROSOFT Airport of SANTORINI LGSR and his different runways).

I've just finished a flight from DAAG to EBBR and during the approach I've selected the rwy 25L at EBBR (with the scenery 's AEROSOFT for Mega Brussels Airport). On the chart of Navigraph the frequency of ILS rwy 25L is 110.35 and on the EFB Chart frequency was still the old one 110.30.

 

Could you give me your advice about this difference ? Is it something wrong in my procedure of approach or something else between Navigraph and your program ?

After installed the new airac cycle (1107) I run the Data Provider but it doesn't recognize the new cycle (always 1106 reported). Is it possible to check that with the navigraph team ?

I've just received the information from Gerard and .... in fact he has changed his windows theme with a classic theme and now that works. In his name many thanks for your tips.

 

Another friend of mine has the same problem but his Data Unit his on a VISTA PC. Same tips ? OK also founded choicing the VISTA theme and that works too.
