    @all,

    first of all, open the airport database (DisplayUnit: "Airports" > "All Airports") and see whether there are any airports at all. If the list is empty means that the DataProvider could not build the database. If the DataProvider could not build the database most probably is caused by a faulty path to the scenery.cfg file. Verify that the path to the scenery.cfg folder is correct and then re-run the DataProviders function "Simulator scenery data update". Note: Be careful when selecting the scenery.cfg path since AFAIK there are different locations, but only one is the correct one.

    Regards,

  2. first thing to do is Updating the FSX data by running the Scenery Data Update function :

    from the manual :

    Updating FSX data, installing or removing scenery
    Important to know:
    After every change of the FSX data (e.g., if you install or remove scenery) you MUST start the Scenery
    Data Update function. The function can be started from the DataProvider's menu bar (FSX Scenery Data
    Update).
    If you don't update the internal data, the DataProvider could crash during flight.

    Recently purchase EFB, and it seem to be working fine with the exception of the moving map ICON.

    I have yet to see it come on (greyed out).  I read the manual and I might have rushed past how to turn it on.

    The "Moving map" button is only available if you are in "green-

    mode" which means that the DataProvider must be connected to

    FSX and your DisplayUnit is presenting you a chart.

    Toggles the moving-map mode (ON/OFF)

  4. Hi Martin,

    the dataprovider has to be installed on the FSX machine and the displayunit on a second machine :

    see the Installation and Configuration Manual : Section 1 installation Distributed installation page 7/13
