indeed, FS9 will also be supported

me again :=)
thinking of something :
to see the plan in the kneeboard you have to push one of the other "tabs" in the kneeboard and return to Nav-log tab and this everytime you change the plan and push activate in EFB
-
it is not necessary to install the displayunit on the server if you like
-
the flightplan is send the moment you press the activate button if 'send fp to garmin.." is checked in the settings of the displayunit
having the same setup as yours

Hi,
you can download the installation and configuration manual here on the download page of Aivlasoft :
http://www.aivlasoft.com/download/index.html
you do not have two download the file 2 times, and you just enter the key where the dataprovider is installed, on the client you just check the box for displayunit and install
-
Indeed it is just a question of pointing to the new location.

thanks Ray, good find

that is something you must decide for yourself I'm afraid, because that can be a large job to reinstall every add-on
my experience is that installing a program in the program folder is looking for problems : I never install any program in the program files folder
look at it this way : whenever you have a harddisk-crash are buying a new machine you still need to reinstall everything
so if you plan to buy a new machine this year maybe it is better to wait, if not I would personally reinstall everything

Hi,
best is not to install FSX in the "program files folder" but in let's say C:/FSX
install EFB in C:/Aivlasoft/EFB
the name of the directory is not important as long as FSX is not in the "program files folder" : that folder is protected by Windows Vista/7/
FSX is proposing "program files" as intalldirectory because at the time Vista/W7 was not even on the market and Windows XP did not have this problem
you can change the installpath in FSX when installing
-
If you're running Windows Vista or later do NOT instal FSX/add-on into the default "c:/program files" folder, because Windows regards that as a protected area and will prevent certain files being written and/or updated.

Hi,
this screenshot shows that you do not have focus on FSX :
you have to click the FSX window before you can use the shortcuts

Hi Urs,
Any comments,suggestions ?

Hi Jerome,
no need to unistall EFB, just install the DisplayUnit on another computer : there is no limit on how many DisplayUnits can be connected to the DataProvider
-

Hi all,
new user of the EFB checking in to say hello. What a great programme this is, I can't believe I've never come across this before. Thanks to someone at the ORBX forums for pointing it out! I downloaded the demo and played around for a couple of days, now I've bought the full version and am enjoying it immensely!
Merci vielmal!
Jack

Hi Willow,
why not try EFB :
The software is available for immediate download as a fully-functional 30-day trial version that can be converted to a registered version by simple purchase of a license key in our webshop.

Hi,
it is in the manual : Section 10 Flying "online" page 7 of 10

Hi Marc,
I thought so
-
Hi,
did you run the FSX Scenery Data Update in the Dataprovider ?
-
Hi Sunil,
sorry to say but no , just FSX because EFB connects via Simconnect.
-
Hi,
no trouble at all
I run it on 4 machines with 7 screens (XP,Vista,W7) :
3 desktops and 1 laptop
move to network setup
in EFB v1 (Read only, no longer supported)

Hi,
just copy the install file over and install, only selecting the DisplayUnit on the second PC.
in case there is a problem with the shared files : http://www.aivlasoft.com/support/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=217
