I've looked through all the posts in this forum but am not getting any wiser. It used to be such a great program to install, but now I'm not so sure. I'm running p3dv3.1 is that maybe the cause of all this? Because of this carry on I decided to do a complete re-install of P3D. But am still getting this error message. Is there a solution for this?? aivlasoft Posted January 8, 2016 Share Posted January 8, 2016 Hi Leo, although you are not running FSX, SimConnect is still required. SimConnect is the interface to FSX and P3D. The exception message which you have received means that EFB cannot find the required "Simconnect.dll" on your computer. Maybe you should visit the P3D forum to figure out which version of SimConnect is required for P3D v3.1 and where you can get the installer for it.
