  1. Sorry for all the confusion. The one I am having trouble with is EGC2, not EG2C as in my original post.
  2. Good question on where it is coming from (EGC2). I don't know. I have UK2000 V2, so it could be from there. That is the only add-on scenery I have. No big deal - air hauler set up a job with that destination - turned out to be a big grass 'park' with 2 helicopters on it. No runway marked out. Maybe since there isn't a defined runway that's why EFB doesn't like it? Brian.
  3. AirHauler, Plan-G, and FSX:Steam all know about EGC2, but for some reason EFB does not. Plan-G shows it as a 'small' airport. I've updated the data provider scenery a couple of times, but no luck.
  4. EGC2 is visible in AirHauler and FSX:Steam, but when I search for it in EFB route setup, it doesn't show up. If I load a flight plan with EGC2 as the destination, EFB reports that it is an unknown ICAO code and won't load the route. Is there a way to manually add ICAO codes for missing airports? Brian.
  5. Getting a problem that I hadn't seen before, though it may not be new. When connected to VATSIM, and route has been activated. I wish I had a screen shot of the error message, but it is something like 'Error encountered getting VATSIM data. Invalid index'. I click on 'Ok', and a few seconds later it pops up again. I finally just left the message box up - everything else was still responding and I finished the flight just fine. If it happens again, I'll try to get a screen shot of it. Brian.
  6. More positive feedback for 1.6.2 - working beautifully on an upgraded system Win 8.2 -> Win 10, and the one problem I reported adding alternate airports is fixed. Great job. Brian.
  7. Windows 10, Upgraded from 8.1, FSX:SE only, 64bit 1b: Correct, though 'Microsoft Games' is actually spelled with a lower case g - 'Microsoft games' (I know it is case insensitive - just trying to be detailed ... ) 1c: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DovetailGames\FSX : Not present, though "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\DovetailGames" is present HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\10.0\ : Not Present 2a: Correct. 3a: Correct 4: Correct Brian C. Barnes
  8. Check in the manual on reassigning runways using the 'runways.txt' file. It talks about this very situation.
  9. Did you run the DataProvider scenery update?
  10. Bad version of SimConnect. I reinstalled SimConnect, and now everything is fine. Sorry for the noise ...

  12. You should bring up the data unit, not the display unit, and look at the main output window. It will show what FSX thinks vs. what the nav data it is using thinks. You can then go into the 'airports.txt' file and edit it to add all the runway mapping information for the airport you are working with.
  13. Site Admin, email on its way. Thanks. Travis, I've been writing C#/.NET code since .NET was first introduced, and professionally for about 8 years. I'm currently playing with the Visual Studio 2015 RC. This part should be no problem. As for the rest, it does look like a pain. I've contacted Majestic to see if they have a spec, and hopefully, that will make things a little easier. I'll keep your suggestions close at hand while working on this. Thanks for all the info. Brian.
  14. Is there a document that describes how to write an export module (I am a fairly advanced programmer). I haven't found one for the Majestic Dash8 Q400, and would like to create one - if I can get the import format from Majestic for their FMC ... Brian.
