  1. Hi All, If I load a flight plan created in PFPX into AivlaSoft DisplayUnit, everything appears to load fine, but if I I try to 'select' a SID, I get an error: 'Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue blah blah blah, 'the given key was not present in the dictionary'. My navdata charts etc should all be up to date. If I click Quit the program shuts down. If I click Continue, the program is fine and works 99% correctly (except, of course, for not being able to select a SID). The first couple of lines under the 'Exception Text are: System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key was not present in the dictionary. at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowKeyNotFoundException() at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.get_Item(TKey key) Window 7 64-bit. Any thoughts? PS: Incidentally, the 'Sid Overview' function appears to work fine. Scott Urista
  2. Just updating - I got everything to install properly: - I downloaded the FSX registry utility from the link provided earlier. Initially that didn't seem to work. - In my case, I had to use a utility called Junction Box; it appears that in the course of doing some reinstalls, some Windows junction folders and such had gotten messed up with permissionings - somewhat hard to explain, but basically these are folders that look like folders in Windows Explorer, but they're not actually folders, they only trick applications into thinking they're writing to a folder. Anyway, using Junction Box cleaned this up right away - I highly highly recommend you do some careful reading up on this before using it. - After using Junction Box, I was immediately able to use the FSX registry utility to fix it so that the system now knows where my FSX is actually installed. Install immediately worked like a champ! Scott
  3. After reading through several pages of general support threads, I found this: I was able to install the Data Provider and AIRACs the first time I did the install, and obv. have FSX installed, so not sure what happened in the interim, but in the meantime, let's try the FSX registry utility to see if that fixes it, Scott
  4. Bump - didn't see this post two hours before my post; I'm having the same problem. What O/S and FS version do you have?
  5. So I have a rather odd problem and I can't seem to find anything like it online. I was having trouble with the "Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E" error, then found the forum post on it, and ran the legacy SimConnect installers, as recommended. I had uninstalled Aivlasoft EFB software, ran the installers, and then ran the Aivlasoft installer again. The odd part is - the installation doesn't install dataprovider.exe. When I install the software, the 'data provider' part is greyed out, and can't be checked, so the installation only installs DisplayUnit. If I ignore and just install anyway, DisplayUnit is installed, Data Provider is not installed and is nowhere else to be found on the PC. It was previously installed, but of course I was getting the HResult noted above. Any thoughts? I'm on Win7 ultimate 64-bit, FSX Steam Edition. Thanks, Scott
