  1. Good Work, Todd! I just corrected PHNL runways using your guide and the information in the AIVLASOFT EFB Operations manual - Section 2 DataProvider. Resolved "Available simulator runways" issue! Best Regards! Mike Shields
  2. PANC runrways have shifted due to magnetic changes world wide. Now are 15 and 33. You need to change the basic FSX scenery file with an airport editor. I just did this same airport with Airport Facilitator AFX from Flight1. Very easy to do. MikeS
  3. Just solved my issue with Aerosoft NavData update. Maybe this will help - make sure the path In Navigraph to EFB matches the default path in DataProvider Settings. Mine did not - once matched - updated showed in DataProvider, Start there.
  4. Pretty much the same for me with Aerosoft DataPro Airac 1503 cycle update? Can't figure this out;
  5. Brian, This appears to be the solution. Disconnects appear to have been solved by using servers name in DataDisplay settings rather than IP address which can and will change. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!
  6. Issue appears to have been network related. Appears to have been solved by using servers name in DataDisplay settings rather than IP address which can and will change.
  7. Brian, Thank you for that insight! I'll give it a try. It was somehow my understanding that even if DataProviders servers name was listed in DataDisplay (instead of the IP address) the program automatically switched to and used the IP address 192.168.0.? which will change as the "lease" expires and other devices connect to the network looking for an available IP. If this solves my issue - Fantastic and Thank You in Advance! I'll let you know.
  8. This has been an incredible issue for me. DataProvider on server and Display on client constantly, randomly disconnecting or not connecting. Numerous uninstalls and reinstalls, firewall investigation, spyware, adware and anti virus software uninstall and reinstalls AND today I discovered by accident that the network router assigns IP addresses as devices connect - server IP can be and was changed in relation to when it connected. 192.168.0.12 was the last IP in display settings, .14 was DataProvider. What to do?
  9. I'd be interested in anyone's thoughts as to possibile causes and solutions. Thanks.
  10. would I assume as true, and normal and to be expected that the data provider will stop, time out, quit, disconnect after fsx has been paused for 45 minutes or more? Mike
  11. Please help me understand. This is an ongoing issue for me. DataProvider on FSX, Display on Client. At first after installation, Both communicate. After flying, shut both down, shut machines down. Restart machines, restart DataProvider which connects to FSX with no colored bulbs lit. Restart DataDisplay unit which just loads never connects. In frustration, and the only way to make it work, I uninstall Dataprovider from FSX machine, Reinstall Dataprovider on FSX machine and it will connect and work. Quit flying and shut down and process starts over, Dataprovider won't connect unless I uninstall and reinstall, over and over again. What could possibly be happening. This has been a daily event since 1/1/2015.
  12. Urs, I was looking in wrong direction. There was nothing wrong with DisplayUnit on any of my clients. I had uninstalled and reinstalled EFB several times on clients and FSX machine looking for the issue. Even replaced all of my network hardware and cables. Never, not once, did I think the DataProvider on the FSX machine had some how gotten corrupted and was the problem. Uninstalled, reinstalled DataProvider on FSX machine and am happily flying again. I don't mind telling you that I was at a loss trying to fly with out the EFB. What an incredible add-on to my system! Thank you again! Mike S
  13. Urs, Thank you for looking at this issue. Main FSX Server *DisplayUnit Splash screen "loading" - both on FSX pc. DataProvider opens and connects to FSX. Shows SimConnect Status "Active". No colored bulbs left side. SimConnect "active" for 20 minutes. * FSX is open and running - minimized. * DisplayUnit Splash screen on same PC is "loading". Has been for 10 or 15 minutes. Task manager - DisplayUnit "Not Responding". 4 Networked Client PC's * DisplayUnit Splash screen is "loading". Has been for 10 or 15 minutes. Task manager - DisplayUnit "Not Responding". What about rolling back to an older version of EFB? I did add a pc to the LAN - cable plugged into modem/router around same time period - 4 pm MST. USA. UTC + 7. How can that effect Aivlasoft? How can 4 pc's have the same issue of not loading past the splash page? Thank You! Mike
  14. 30 day trial plus purchased and registered. Display stopped during flight and unit won't load on 3 clients in network as well as on server with dataprovider. Just Spash screen. Uninstalled and re installed on 3 client pcs, with no success. Disabled firewall and anti virus all machines no success. Win 7 64 Mike Shields
  15. Thank you both for your interest and help! I think my issues are solved. Apparently, to stop time changes, you have to disable UTC in DataProvider module. Mine is on the FSX pc and the DataDisplay is on a separate networked pc. Also I had Synergy active on both (mouse and keyboard control) –as well, running in background, Uninstalled on FSX pc, Disabled in Client pc and problem seems solved.
  16. BUG - Unchecking "pause on task switch" in FSX has NO EFFECT on this issue. Aivlosoft Data Provider on same pc as FSX causes FSX to pause -"loading terrain data", during flight while Dataprovider apparently updates Data DisplayUnit on another pc on network or itself - pc and FSX pauses and shows " loading terrain data" during event. And will also change flight time to system time example it is 10 pm, I choose to change time at dusk in the FSX time and season menu, Aivlasoft Data Provider polls FSX or Display unit and changes time back to 10 pm with corresponding night display. Pause and "loading Terrain Data" also occurs when a flight is paused and resumed. A fellow simmer has reported same events. WIN 7 Premium 64 Bit.
