  1. Urs, that did it. Thanks so much -- I'm sending you a virtual case of beer. Alan
  2. The only airports that show on the Display Unit charts are the departure and destination airports. I've had this problem for a while and have tried many settings changes for no joy. I definitely have the show airports and VORs selected; the VORs are there but no airports. I have the CHARTS MISCELLANEOUS settings for airports at 25m. I tried upgrading to 1.5.6 just to see if upgrading would fix this problem. No change. Anyone have any ideas? Alan
  3. Hi, do I need to uninstall previous versions befor installing this version? Alan
  4. This link leads to File not Found. I'm having the same problem, only with Squawkbox -- no Vatsim traffic on the Data Display.
  5. Wow! I'm having the same problem. I've always been impressed with Urs and the service from Aivlasoft. To my knowledge, over 1 week without a response is unprecedented. I pray all is well with Urs and Aivlasoft. Alan
  6. Thanks, Oskar. That is exactly what I needed to know. Alan
  7. Thanks, Urs. Users who own Carenado are who I'm looking for. Alan
  8. I'm considering purchasing the Carenado B58 and C208. Before I do I want to ensure they play well with EFB. My most pressing question is whether the GPS on the Carenados can be controlled by EFB (flight plan activation, direct to, etc) as it is on default aircraft? Next, I would be interested in hearing any comments about these aircraft that anyone has to offer. Thanks, Alan
  9. Urs, thanks for the explanation--it makes sense. Alan
  10. Flew into St Michael AK, PAMK, this morning. Airnav.com shows an RNAV approach for rwy 02 and an RNAV approach for rwy 20, yet EFB showed no approaches available. Also noted that EFB did not recognize St Michael by the ICAO designator: PAMK; instead it knew only the FAA identifier: SMK. Can someone explain? BTW, EFB is an indispensable product. Alan
  11. Urs, I uploaded the Navigraph v3, opened EFB and this time I found and was able to select the RNAV 34 approach. Many thanks for the rapid response and the coordination you had to do with Navigraph. Both companies provided excellent and rapid service. Kudos!!! Alan
  12. Urs, Thanks for the quick reply. I shall wait as patiently as possible. Alan
  13. Yesterday I downloaded and installed the AIRAC 1304 FMS data from Navigraph, and installed the EFB 1.3.7 update. This morning I loaded up a flight from 3B8 (Spanaway WA) to KFHR (Friday Harbor, WA). Had checked AirNav.com during preflight and decided I would fly the RNAV(GPS) approach for runway 34 at KFHR. About 40 miles out, tried to open the approach on EFB, and much to my surprise no RNAV approach was available, only the NDB approach. Double checked on FlightAware.com, and there is indeed an RNAV approach available. So, my first thought thought was a problem with the Navigraph download, so I checked into their forum and got this response: "I have looked into the KFHR file of the EFB and I have found the RNV34 approach, so it should be there ... are you really sure, that you have loaded the AIRAC correctly? (sorry for my stupid question )" I found the file he was referring to: KFHR.txt in the Sids and stars folder, and indeed the RNV34 approach was there. Any ideas on why it doesn't show up in EFB? BTW, I did reinstall the AIRAC and tried again, with the same results: no RNAV 34. Thanks, Alan Morris
