  1. I sent 1.6.6 file to Kapersky lab for the review and here is the response: The message contains details about verdicts that have been returned by Anti-Virus in response to the files (if any are included in the message) with the latest updates installed. AivlaSoft.Efb.Update_v1.6.6.exe. This file is corrupted. Best Regards, Kaspersky Lab "39A/3 Leningradskoe Shosse, Moscow, 125212, Russia Tel./Fax: + 7 (495) 797 8700 http://www.kaspersky.com http://www.viruslist.com"
  2. I have opened a ticket with Kaspersky lab and sent them the download link to verify what is going on. I cannot install this update even though I added it into exemption. Here is a temporary suggestions: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=343519
  3. I really don't want to hijack the topic but AIRAC update really drives me insane. It is always a pain to update it! I think I am getting lost with these procedures how to update AIRAC cycles. DP settings: Under " Navigraph FMS data" - E:\FSX-SE\steamapps\common\FSX\AivlaSoft\Navigraph FMS Data In Navigraph I have: E:\FSX-SE\steamapps\common\FSX\AivlaSoft\Navigraph FMS Data Both paths are the same, still old AIRAC. What is missing or incorrect here? Thx
  4. OK, I got it now. Alternate link worked out finally. Thx PS. I do not see vectors to runways during taxi anymore. I tried to enable this option in settings and disable it and I still do not see vectors.
  5. Tanks. I was able to access the website but the file is being loading for hours. Tried from home and work still the same.
  6. Download page is unresponsive. Looks like website is down.
  7. I had same issues but I was able to update to AIRAC 1510. I did not change any paths bc all were correct. I just kept forcing updating new AIRAC and finally it did update on both FSX and network PC. I am not sure why but it did work. It took me about 7-8 times pushing update button. In anyway it did not look right, it should have been less pain to do that. Thx
  8. I have problem updating too. NavData folder path is selected as before in Data Provider and in Navigrapph I see it was updated, however in Data Provider still shown the old AIRAC.
  9. 1.6.2 works OK on both FSX (W7) and network (W10) PCs. Thx for the update.
  10. Hi there. Thats C: drive in Display Unit settings, what computer is that, where P3D is installed or the network PC? Make sure you are looking for data provider folder on P3D PC not in client PC. I had similar issue but in my case it was sharing issue. Also if you are able to access from network PC to folders in P3D then you should be able to select a folder where Data Provider is installed. When I get to my PC I will show my settings. Display Unit on network PC works fine Thx
  11. Good day all. I am trying to separate my issues with EFB after installation v1.61. Everything is working OK but have one lingering issue. I was able to to fix it in older version 1.5.1. Not sure if this is just me or there is something else. So several addon sceneries look different in Display Unit than in FSX (EHAM, LFPG and LLBG. I wonder what is the correct path to scenery.cfg folder in Data Provider. I have 2 different ways to access sceneries: 1. C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX 2. C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX Which one is supposed to be in Data Provider? Both contain scenery cfg. In the location - "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX" I see the list of addon sceneries. However LLBG is not there. LLBG was purchased from Dovetail and installed from Steam platform. LLBG is located here: "E:\FSX-SE\steamapps\common\FSX\DLC\352230\FSaddon\BenGurionX2". I wonder how does the Display Unit reads LLBG scenery then if it is located in a different place? I tried to find my fix here but it did not work http://aivlasoft.ipbhost.com/index.php?/topic/1580-lsgg-ground-not-displaying-accurately/ Thanks for looking.
  12. Question. Some of my add-on sceneries in Display Unit do not match to what is in FSX. LLBG, EHAM and LFPG one of them. It looks normal in FSX (and on Jepp charts) but not in Display Unit. I wonder if this is something to do with scenery cfg folder. Thx
  13. Kurt. Nice catch. Removing backslash fixed the problem. I am able to load flight plan from PFPX now. sceneries loaded as before normally. With that slash after FSX scenery updater did not even ran. All sceneries work fine except LLBG, that one was installed from Dovetail within Steam platform. I was able to fix it long time ago but I forgot how I did it. It is a matter of time now. I was able to fix connection in network PC as well, the issue was my IP address, for some reason IP address did not hold in setting, it was dropping. Looks like it stabilized now. Everything is working. Will keep testing. Thx Kurt and to everyone here.
  14. "(For assistance, could you email us a ZIP file with the PLN file you mention?)" Travis. The problem is not just in those PLN files, I cannot even select route in Display Unit in Route setup tab. I selected VAT route and Route Finder and tried to upload routes from those websites but it still generate that ICAO error message. Looks to me it is not just my saved PLN route files. Interesting it still fails FSX;SE path however the sim path is correct:
  15. Thanks for the reply. 1)Re "Display Unit does not connect to Data Provider": Most probably this is an issue with access rights or with the "owner" of the folder. I gave the rights to the folder and shared it as before. It was not an issue in older version. 2) Re ""Create route from flight plan: Origin with ICAO code EGLL is not available in FSX": Did you run the scenery data update so the DataProvider could recreate the EFB database? Yes and it looked different this time. So ran scenery update and update progress began. At the end of updating that dark Data Provider screen closed and Setting window opened. When I clicked OK then same message popped up to select correct flight plan folder. Looked like update was not successful. Thx
  16. Progress. I reinstalled EFB on network PC and unchecked myself Data Probider Option. Now I am able to run Display Unit on networked PC howver Display Unit does not connect to Data Provider. I set everything as described in manual, shared again required all folders. I am able to run Display Unit on FSX PC and I see there is a connection between Data Provider and Display Unit on FSX PC but I cannot neither create not upload any flight planes. Message says: "Create route from flight plan: Origin with ICAO code EGLL is not available in FSX.". So regardless if I try to upload saved route from PFPX or try to create myself or upload from website do not work. Thx
  17. Hello back. V 1.6.1 has installed OK, I can open Data Provider. However I some issues. I am wondering if I am doing something wrong or not. 1) I have Data provider and Display Unit on my FSX PC and NOW I have Data provider and Display Unit on my network PC as well. Before I had only Display Unit on networked PC but not both. When I was installing the older version only Display Unit was installed and Data Provider option was inhibited. It was different this time. So I ended up two full versions on my both computers. They do not talk to each other anymore. When I start EFB on networked PC this message pops up: 2) I setup all folders in settings on my FSX PC Data provider but every time I open it this message appears: So what path is incorrect here? 3) How can I set up settings on networked PC now? Thx for help. ------------------------------- FSX PC: Windows 7 Pro Networked PC - W10

  20. I thing the "problem" is because I am trying to install EFB on my client PC. I tried to select Data Provider option during installation and messages said that Data Provider required on PC where FSX is installed. I may not even need it then...
  21. Thx for the reply. The thing is I have Display Unit icon but Data Provider is missing. I cannot even start EFB. As far as I know Data Provider must be installed as well. But it is just missing...
