I`m also run out off idea`s .
ok lats described how i start up and activate efb fp.
on fsx start up there is nothing inthe fsx garmin.
startup efb on fsx pc
startup efb on remote pc
I make the FP in efb , save and activate.
data provider receives FP from remote display unit.
efb current fp found in fsx flihgtplan map .
than the fsx garmin shows PRVPOS-KGBD

I have made a proper install on both pc`s it did not help.
I have made a search on the pc to find that FP prvpos-klbg but I cannot located it , because its not in the fsx fligtplans and not stored in efb flightplans
dataprovider recieves the fp after activation ,in fsx flightplan the efb current fp its stored en roaming/microsoft/fsx the temporarily fp is the the same as efb current fp .
the garmin AC are used are from carenado fsx .
I have no more options to find out why

would it be helpfull if I make uninstall on both pc`s and than a fresh new install.If I do so what?where have I to delete to be sure it s a clean fresh install . However I think that its not in EFB it acts normal ans synchronize exept the flighplan.
There must be a connection because it changes the fsx flightplan but only in the wrong flightplan .All the other things are working REX en vatsim .
Changing the atc frequentie in the display unit works to fsx and SB4 .Is EFB working with or without fsuipc(payware version with widefs.
Iput a copy from fsuipc ini .

just to be sure.
latest efb.
load garmin check t in data .
on both pc`s the same happens after activation flightpath .
is there a possibility that`s something check t or not check t in fsuipc .
this rare behavior starts after a new fresh fsx install.The path name is changed but i changed every thing in the display and databox.
Or is there a ini file somewhere that gives wrong info.?????

this is my fsx plans path. standard path so nothing wrong with it.
The thing is that efb communicate with fsx on a good way also the ATC frequenty changes work the via remote display unit .
but when i save and activate the flightplan in the display unit( kmfr-kfbi) I get the right FP in the diplayunit and a request for airport kmfr and kfbi in the dataprovider.
when FSX is running and the AC on KMFR airport I activatethe FP and data provider loading FP in garmin GPS.
But in gps unit shows PRVPOS-KGBD so i activate kfmr-kfbi to fsx and [prvpos-kgbd loads in fsx but the AC on the appropriate position .
When loading FP via FSX flightplanner the right FP is in the garmin and synchrony with EFB but as soon I update via ,ea arrival and approach and activate again PRVPOS-KGDB is back in the garmin/fsx

Before the reinstall from fsx EFB flight plan shows in fsx after activate .Now it don`t , everything ells is working properly between fsx and data provider and display on remote. The flight plan that comes to fsx is prvpos-KGBD.When I load the right FP via fsx flight planner it shows ok but as soon as I change the route in the display ,ea a dct , and activate the ppos-KGDB is back. And I have to reload the FP again via fsx flight planner.

for some reason I don't online tfc any more visible in EFB . All the boxes are clickable and are yellow but the traffic box is grey and not clickable .with the other boxes when I hoover with the mouse pointer over it turns in a hand ,over the tfc box it turns in a forbidden sign.
I have no clue why .i use standard windows theme .

Just one more question ivao has now a web based info to see who is online. http://webeye.ivao.aero/. And is the Ivao eye not longer in use
is EFB still able to get info for/from ivao?????

Every time when I activate a route with the displaiunit on the remote , I get this error message on the fsx pc.
I have used prepar3d before ,but I`m back to fsx.Reason serious fps lost.
i did a fresh display install on the remote pc.
never had this before i change from fsx to prepar3d .So it must have something to do with the previous use from prepar3d and the change back to fsx.
how can i remove this error message????

I have succesfully ad the iPad on my fsx computer in a network . But can i use the efb als touchscreen on my ipad . This because the FSX pc has2 screens the are not touchscreen .
So I `m able to drag efb to me Ipad that now looks as a W7 screen .With maxivista ipad prog.

The same for this TOU180010,As far as I know it means leave TOU 180 for 010 nm in this case to PUW but some times to pick up a airway.

Hi,
I buyed EFB today, it is a great tool, but I have the same problem as Wil. I have The Eye installed, and I entered the right path to \data, but I have no IVAO data.
I attached a screen of EFB during connection to IVAO.
I hope there is a solution,

i use ivap the newest and efb also updated.
ivao data won`t show/load , vatsim no problem.
where is efb getting the ivao data from is it via documents/userdata/online/ivao or from the ivao eye / data folder.
i try`d both but no data loaded.

i use also 2 PC `s
with w7 ultimate 64 intelcore i5 2500k cpu 8gb memory
when data provider is started it takes about 1 min for connecting the display unit

please read the operations manual, section 2 "DataProvider", page 3. I think that this should answer your question.
always the same MAN never read user manuals. thx for the quick answer and problem solved.
one remains :after the rex xtreme update to essential EFB don't read the weather from rex.
before the efb weather was assigned to EFB/metar is this still the same or should EFB read it from EFB/metarXML , I try`d it but it says there is weather file in that map.
I have done the upgrade.

first off all I use EFB with great pleasure.
Also updating with the latest navigraph.Some times I get this warning Runweay assignment waring.
E.a. flight from KELP to KMRF it says
runway assignment warning for KMRF-Marfa Muni.
please see data provider.
navadata runway ident 04 at airport KMRF could not be assined to FSX runway.
the same text for 09-13-22-27-31
info availble FSX runways at this airport arte as follows : 12.30.03.21.08.26.
I understand the difference and why , but how can I solved it In time it happens to more airports.
