After a long time with no issues running Aivlasoft EFB 2 with XPlane 12 I get this error message when trying to start the server "could not start because TCP Listener throws an exception" Then a message to check the log. I cannot find any reference to Aivlasoft there. Help please.

I had Aivlasoft v1 several years ago. Since then I have moved to XPlane11 and have purchased Aivlasoft v2. I love this programme. It makes my simming so much better and more enjoyable and I haven't yet explored all of its functions/capabilities. Having all the information it provides in one screen is great. Thank you Aivlasoft.

I have been running the Demo Version and now have completed the purchase. Do I have to uninstall the Demo version and then install a new version of EFBv2 to get my license key inserted and activated? Or is there an easy step from within the Demo version?

Hoping to purchase EFB v2 - will it be compatible with XP12 when it is released or is that a complete unknown at the moment?

I have just installed the demo version of EFBv2.2 to run with XPlane 11.52 The installation has gone well but I have encountered a problem getting my Active Sky weather installed properly. I have followed the instructions in the Client PDF until I get to this part on Page 24 "The following "weather supplier" types can be selected in the Client's "Settings" dialogue (MASTER only): My question is where/how can I find this box to select "Global"? and then Active Sky I presume. Thanks for assistance. William

To answer my own question- I bought Duet Display and EFB works fine when running in Win 10. It has to be a "wired" connection ( using a standard USB Lightning cable) but that is no problem in my set up. Unable to get the touchscreen input working so far. William

Air Display cannot run EFB on an iPad when using Windows 10. I have just exchanged emails with support at Air Display and they haven't even started to produce a driver for Air Display/Win 10 yet. They say they might the future ! Anyone using any of the other apps for this purpose-e.g. Duet Display etc. If so what are the results? William

One more question if I may ask- when I go to save a route,-- in the Prosim tab - it is pointing to save it in the Prosim 737 folder or gives me the option to create a new folder - where should I save it? Geir, I apologise for not answering your post sooner. Sorry for the very late reply. I have been working with other parts of the sim (I am new to, and loving, Prosim and there are lots of things to learn within that) and I have beenaway from home over the holidays visiting family. I hope to get back to this issue shortly. I have followed your advice and can see the route in the main Prosim folder but not showing in company routes.xml file nor in the Instructor Station. My fault because of my folder structure. I will ask further over at the Prosim forum. William

I am trialling the Prosim 737 avionics suite and am attempting to save an EFB constructed route into Prosim company routes. When I look at the Prosim "save" box in EFB it is "greyed out" and doesn't accept any input. There is a reference to this "route" in the C: Users/Name/Documents folder. Maybe this is not where Prosim "save" their routes? I am running EFB v 1.6.8.33245., P3Dv3.4 As per the post further down this page is there some other file I need to add? William

As the title suggests I have EFB installed as a single installation. I wish now to view the display unit on my client PC which is already networked to my flightsim computer. My question is - do I need to uninstall EFB and reinstall for a distributed installation or can I just add a Display Unit to the client computer and then share the required files. Thanks William

I have just installed Win 10 and P3Dv3.1 and am currently reinstalling all my flights programmes. However I have now reached Aivlasoft EFB and find that Windows "Smartscreen" will not allow me to download the programme - even after I have deactivated Win Smartscreen!!! Anyone found a way around this? And secondly is EFB working fully with Win 10 and P3Dv3.1?

After having added a second display unit and installing EFB on a two computer setup I am getting mixed up with the "end number" of saved flight plans e.g.01,02,03 etc . To tidy this up how/where do I go about deleting previously saved plans? I am saving them in 3 formats - EFB, iFly and Lockheed MartinP3D. Which folders do I need to visit and is deleting from there enough? William

Sorry to come back again with more questions. I am one of those P3D owners who has missed out on the P3D upgrade steps which means I have to uninstall P3DV2 before a completely new install of P3DV2.2. This of course means I have to uninstall EFB and then reinstall to the new sim. Are there any steps other than Control panel- Programs and Features- Uninstall that I need to take? Thanks, William
