I am a controller in Moncton.Gander FIR. I noticed today that when Gander Centre is on-line that the Gander Oceanic airspace is also activated. There is a difference between Gander Domestic airspace and Gander Oceanic. Is this something Aivlasoft would address and if so what information do you require, to correct this.

It just amazes me that the Navigraph Data for each of above products and others differs so much. I mean is is Rocket Science or what. Surely between all of us and Aivlasoft can we not apply some pressure to get the data to match. I am sending a note off to Navigraph Ludicrous

PMDG responded to a ticket I posted, they will not be making any changes to the NGX to assist on this subject, so we wait. Oh and I noticed that SP5 has helped somewhat with the display of traffic in Vatsim, an acceptable start thanks... No more from me on this one either. Just waiting on the wings for EFB 2.0.

Urs, Thanks for the answer and my apologies on the signature, fixed that. EFB is a product I truly appreciate having. With that I look forward to version 2.0. Do you have a roadmap or release date for this version?

Yes we are also experiencing sporadic results. Is this related to simconnect, something to do with the amount of Traffic. I am not sure what PMDG are doing and I seriously doubt we will get any fast solution on that side (Been surprised before). Question for the EFB developers. Is this does in fact seem to be related to simconnect. At best we know it is a temperamental offspring of the ACES team. Have you thought abut giving those of us who own FSUIPC the option of using Peter Dowsons WS Wide Client rather than simconnect. Is that even an option, Plan G provides both types of interface it should be able to work! Or I might be talking out of my hat. It seems that the connection with simconnect gets hung up with EFB. If I close the Data Provider down and restart, I do get my traffic back. What are the chances that as an interm you provide a means to check when that happens and recycle the simconnect session? The issue with getting EFB to display VATSIM traffic consistently while flying the PMDG 737 NGX has bothered me and my fellow pilots at our VA CANADIAN EXPRESS. PMDG are about to deliver another Hot Fix for the PMDG 737NGX, we are not sure if the new fix will solve this issue. We believe we found a work around and those of us who tried it report success.We all run EFB in a networked environment with the Data provider on the FSX PC and the Display Client on a second PC. Any other configuration may not work, your welcome to try and please report back. Here is our work around. Start FSX first, Load NGX 737 and start at an airport of your choice. A busy one if you like, EGLL is quite busy all the time Load Squawk Box and log on to Vatsim. Start the EFB Data Provider on the FSX PC, wait for it to load and confirm it is running, Start EFB Display Unit on the second PC. Set Up a Flight Plan in EFB. For the test we used EGLL to LSZH - DVR UL9 KONAN UL607 KOK UM150 DIK UN852 GTQ UT3 BLM. Select the altitude, activate the VATSIM sync with EFB and activate the flight. Make sure FSX is the active window and that TRFC buttons are activated on each screen for EFB. Use VATSPY, SERVEINFO or a similar program to check the VATSIM traffic. If you see the same or similar traffic in EFB then congrats the solution worked for you as well. Let me know if you get the same results, that is VATSIM Traffic on the ground departure and enroute screens in EFB Good Luck
