Hello After a Windows10 & P3Dv4 etc re-installation, EFB says I've exceeded my activations Not sure how to solve this, as I don't recall where or when I bought it - sorry:-(

Not in mine, they don't. I have perfect AI display in FSC, always have had.

As I understand it, Flightsim Commader aslo uses simconnect and also displays AI traffic. Would this not suggest there can be a way to solve this issue?

I've had to remove and reinstall the NGX for issues with the aircraft, but I still have no traffic showing in EFB. I really find it quite sad that neither developer really seems to take this seriously. It's not as if either addon are exactly 'cheap'.

I run on a client PC and the fix doesn't work for me Don't know why, but I was just assuming the NGX SP1 would sort this out. This is a real 'party-pooper' for me. Can't see any way round it other than trying to run another addon at the same time. Sort of defeats the object though.

This problem has now reached the point of hardly ever being able to complete a flight. It always happens during approach. I'm going to try using a different clientPC to see what happens...

Hi Urs There are no other addons at all running on the server where FSX and Data Provida reside. There was just the EFB Display Unit and Flightsim Commander (which uses FSWide) running on the client PC. One change I've made is to install Active Sky Evolusion to the server PC (uses Simconnect), but it was not running at the time. I will try the same flight without FSC but, if it's same issue I had before, then addons make no difference. I'll report back tomorrow. P.S. How is it that EFB does not seem to need any Simconnect config files (or are they hidden?) thanks

On my last PC and FSX installation, the Data Provider used to keep closing down, for no reason I could see. After building a new PC and a Windows & FSX etc reinstall, the problem went away. It's now back with a vengence. Is it possible to see what causes it from the attached log files? Thanks

Sorry for delay, but thank you very much for that - worked a treat! Would I be correct in assuming that with each navdata update, these problems will occur more and more often, as it leaves FSX behind?

Just completed a quick & dirty EGKK HARDY M605 XIDIL UM605 DPE LFPG using sid & star WITHOUT the DP closing Hopefully - fingers crossed, it was just ME having incorrect and non-matching versions on the network. Once again, thanks for the help

Hi guys & thanks dts for link. To link my two separate threads together, I have now installed the SP4 update on both PCs - main and networked. Travis, I now have EFB showing exactly the same SID as your picture, so I'm guessing that having an SP2 version on one, and and SP3 version on the other PC was causing some data error. I have not changed any data files since doing this, si 'I' didn't correct the issue - EFB did I've yet to see if these changes fix the DP closure problem - will report back later. Thanks for such quick support - appreciated.

I know I've said this before, and I have a couple of issues to solve, BUT... I just HAVE to say again how this has revolutionised my simming. It's an ammazing piece of software and, when used in conjunction with something like the new NGX, it's nothing short of outstanding! I just don't understand why it took me so long to become aware of it. Guess I tend to not look at adverts on the sim sites. At first glance, it does appear expensive for a flightsim addon but, by golly, it gives a lot of bang for your buck! I still find myself using the likes of Flightsim Commander for a clear overall picture though (not for planning though). Maybe the next version could give a similar screen option? Thanks to ALL and ANYONE who had a hand in developement of EFB - it's great!!!

Hi Travis and thanks for posting that. I'm currently ill and bed bound, so can't access my my main FS PC but, mine looks nothing like that. I'll post a pic later. Mine has an outbound 259(?) course for 28nm before returning to head south
