  1. You aren't doing anything wrong, I can answer your PMDG SIDS and STARS question. Basically PMDG asked Aivlasoft and other similar vendors to remove the facility to import S&S into PMDG aircraft because it would crash their NGX FMC sometimes. So rather than waste a lot of time fixing the problem they asked vendors to stop supporting that facility because they say it's not done like that in real life anyway, or words to that effect, which isn't always true, but whatever, lol.

  2. Try running the airport AFCAD (for this addon airport) through ADE9X, simply open it with that program (in FSX mode) but do not change anything, then compile the AFCAD and it will now be saved in FSX format. EFB at this time cannot read AFCADs that are designed for FS2004 and that is the primary reason for the mismatch between what you see in EFB and what is in FSX.

The next most obvious reason is that the scenery database hasn't been run but you should get a warning in EFB for such mismatches, plus you already said you ran an update so it won't be that.

  3. AFX is ok, but it was known for not strictly sticking to the FSX SDK and this sometimes caused problems of its own. If you have problems try opening the file you just adjusted with AFX in ADE 9X and then do a validation check on it and it should tell you if there are any errors..... you will probably find quite a few. It has been years since I used AFX so they may have changed their ways and actually fixed those errors now.

  4. Have you checked that you don't have another LEAL active somewhere, like for example in the MyTrafficX scenery folder? I know FSX is supposed to be smarter than that and its supposed to take the library order into account and which ever AFD is nearer the top of the list should get priority, but its another buggy area of FSX and its AI engine.

EDIT: Even a duplicate in the same scenery folder as Eiresims AFD can cause problems sometimes, although then alphabetical/numerical order is then taken into account and I think A's and 1's get priority. Supposedly

  5. If you are using the default SCEL it would appear that FSX only has a representation of runway 17/35, the navdata says that there are runways 17L 17R 35L 35R, so there is a mismatch between the navdata from Navigraph and what is available in the sim. Urs will have to advise you from here.

  6. It's in multiple places on the approach plate, take a look at the plate below from a screenshot on the website and you will see it highlighted in an info bubble on the moving map section and again near the top left of the page where it says LOC IDP, LOC = localiser and IDP is the ident code for that particular ILS.
