For me, Aivlasoft is a much better tool than Navigraph, but I mostly fly VR so...

With all respect, but I think Aivlasoft should really start thinking about porting its code into a more flexible platform that supports

mobile apps and VR  before it's too late.

Especially VR, because it will become dominant in flight simming over the the next coming years.

VR investments and progress are rapidly increasing.

Aivlasoft is a 100% better than Navigraph. Trouble is no vr implementation which i totally agree with you could make it obsolete in a matter of weeks to be honest. VR is now not the future. I do not use my Aivlasoft anymore unfortunately because I only fly in vr

    Please Check SimEFB implementation.

There is a hugh VR community and we all love your work but can not use it in VR which make us use other EFB applications instead.

I've looked into sim efb, its too tedious for my liking. I'm waiting on something as good as or close to aivlasoft to be

As to my knowledge the 'Navigraph toolbar integration' is done using a different technical approach than EFB is using.

I see, thanks for your reply. I was hoping it could be worked into it somehow, I mainly fly in VR now and I'm kinda desperate for this EFB. Thanks anyway

Ok, I still have no explanation, why it loads the CJ4 profile, but at least I see why it doesn't load the CRJ700 Profile. You have to add the proper code for the CRJ700 in the MSFS Version to the field "airfile name": crj700. In your attached profile only the code for the P3D-Version crj700_amm is present. The whole issue was discussed here already extensively,

Fantastic, thanks for that. I can only guess it loaded the CJ4 because its the only aircraft I fly

Is there any method to prevent the efb flight plan from affecting the the flight plan in the sim?

I've been getting a lot of CTD lately and I suspect fsuipc.

I'm hoping I can set somewhere so the flight plan on the efb does not impact that of the sim.

It seems to have been answered on another post. Please ignore

So I’m having one heck of a time with the AP failing after this last update from Asobo and as part of my trouble shooting the problem I want to work on my start up sequence. (Also I’m using the developer version of FBW a320nx.)

    1. Start Server

    2. Start Client

    3. Download SimBrief flight plan and complete (dep) and (app) if known

    4. Start MSFS

    5. Open at gate Cold and dark

    6. Start FSUIPC 7

    7. Start REX  (weather program)

    8. Build flight plan in MCDU

    9. Hopefully avoiding the death spiral once AP is engaged. 50/50 it seems

    would you change anything?

MSFS2020 starts automatically when I start FSUIPC. I'm not sure why but I can't start FSUIPC without it launching MSFS2020 even if its already running

FSUIPC 7 is released as a payware addon meanwhile that is even not very cheap (friendly spoken!). Will it be possible using it as an unregistered version like it was before or do I have to buy it for using EFB furthermore?

Maybe it will be possible using EFB with simconnect in the future?

    Kai

I dont think you need the registered version

    Hi there,

I have the same 2 errors despite the fact that my installation is the standard Microsoft store installation.

The UserCfg.opt file mentioned is in: AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache,

the database builder defaults to: AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages.

I have tried both paths and I get errors with both.

Error   : The specified path, file name, or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters.     at System.IO.Path.LegacyNormalizePath(String path, Boolean fullCheck, Int32 maxPathLength, Boolean expandShortPaths)   at System.IO.Path.InternalGetDirectoryName(String path)   at System.IO.FileSystemEnumerableIterator`1..ctor(String path, String originalUserPath, String searchPattern........

    and

Error   : Could not find file 'C:\Users\simon\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server\DbBuilder\Base\Mfs\comservices.bin'.     at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)   at System.IO.File.InternalCopy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite, Boolean checkHost)   at f.f.z.p.f(SimulatorTypes A_0, NavdataTypes A_1, String A_2)

    Hello,

if anyone is else having trouble building the database using MFS2020 the store edition, if you have the aircraft livery pack installed in your community folder, you have to unzip the files with winrar. I don't know why but 7zip does not work. The liveries would install but for some reason it messes with the database builder.

This is fixed for me. Thanks for every suggestion.
