could not read database do to errors
Machofner replied to Machofner's topic in EFB v2 - Support forum
I have my MSFS installed in the right place. AS you indicated above. I don't know where this long path is coming from. I don't know how to reinstall MSFS. I don't want to have to reinstall all my addons. Can you help with instructions on reinstalling? Thank You. Bill -
could not read database do to errors

I don't understand. I have been using EFB2 with MSFS from the beginning of MSFS 2020 with no problems. In the same location. The only thing that has changed is that I'm using the latest version of EFB2. So how is reinstalling MSFS going to solve the problem? Logic indicates that the problem lies with the server/db install program. Just trying to understand where you are coming from. Thank You Bill -

dbBuilderLogfile.txtWell, fixed the one drive issue. But I have to more issues/errors in the attached logfile. Since my last post. Uninstalled both client and server. shut down computer. reinstalled server. results attached log file. I have done the previous steps several times with the same results. I'm about to give up. I don't believe this is your fault. But I don't know what's left to try. Maybe this log file has something that will help you. Thank You. Bill -

Thanks, I read the above. But I don't recall pointing anything to one drive during the installation process. Where during installation would I have done that? Can I just uninstall EFB2 and reinstall to fix the problem? I didn't have this problem with earlier EFB2 updates. Bill McCracken -

Since I'm not sure how it got installed on OneDrive in the first place. I think it was installed on Win10. I found out something else. Once I copied the flight plan into Uplink. The legs of the plan didn't load. Because the legs were user created WP's. EFB2 will not load them. I loaded the flight plan from Flightsim.To. Not your problem. Thanks for your continued support. Update, Why, I don't know. But the application was installed on ONE Drive. Can I just uninstall the application and reinstall on the c drive without losing anything? Or can I just copy the folders from One drive. What do you recommend. Thank You. Bill McCracken

The Documentation says the location is C;\users\username\documents\AivlaSoft\Client\Uplink. Or Server. My documents folder is empty. What am I doing wrong?

Oskar, Thank you. I'm aware of the tools to create a profile. In the past with another profile. I found it hard to find the specs. I needed to complete it. Not for the Kodiak. Another aircraft. So, I was reluctant to try. Thank You. Bill McCracken

Can you please tell me where I can download. The SWS Kodiak profile. Thank You. Bill McCracken

Client only loads in Full Screen mode.
Machofner replied to Machofner's topic in EFB v2 - Support forum
Hey that works! I never ran into this before. On a 49" monitor. It's kind of hard to fly when you can't see the cockpit. Thanks. Bill -
I can't change to window mode. ALT ENTER does not work. There is no icons at the top of the screen to allow you to minimize the window. I have just installed the latest version (Version 2.3 Build #134 today). I am running windows 11. I can't get to the Task bar either. How do I load the Client in windowed mode? I don't have this issue with any other program. Thank You. Bill McCracken

EFB2 Not Accepting my full Serial Number
Machofner replied to Machofner's topic in EFB v2 - Support forum
Did you receive my reply from yesterday? Thank You. Bill McCracken -
I have a new computer. I'm trying to install EFB2 version 2 build #119. When I try and enter my serial number it won't accept my full number. If I purchase a new computer do I have to purchase another EF2? Thank You. Bill McCracken

APPDATA remote Access For Display Unit
Machofner replied to Machofner's topic in EFB v1 (Read only, no longer supported)
Thanks for looking into this. I had done a Google search before creating this post. With the same results. I had already done what you suggested in your last paragraph. I was hoping someone on the forum had already had this issue and new how to do it. My Server is Windows 10 Pro an the Client is Windows 10. I'll keep poking around and may be I'll find some thing. Since this is possible with EFB I'm surprised no one has run into this. Thanks Again. Bill
