luxair_ca Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 hello everybody i bought the software package yesterday, installed the Data Provider on my main FS PC (Win 7 Ultimate 64bit) and the display unit on the notebook (Win 7 Ultimate 32bit). I need help in installing a network between both pc´s so that i can use the DU on my notebook. I tried it via the Win7 Home-network function, but i can´t get the DU to connect to the Provider (all folder links in the DU settings are correct(e.g. AppData etc....) who can help me with a step by step tutorial for Dummies many thanks Marc Germany Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
KAPTEJNLN Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 hello well there is already an post from me whit the same: Two or more computers with one or more monitors installed in but i tryeid to set up an network from my laptop whit windows vista to the same version as you. would come back later at try to help but first off all can you se the pc-name of your win7 pc from laptop and the otherway. KAPTEJNLN Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 well provider set to any display pc set to remote and servername is the name of the pc whit provider ex so if you on network have win7 pc and name is XXX2 enter it as server name and you should be running. KAPTEJNLN Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 WELL WHAT ERROR ? LOOK IN THE LOGFILES FOLDER FOUND BY GO TO START MENU AND AIVLASOFT EFB LOGFILES. THEN FIND THE LINE WHIT THE ERROR AND SHOW IT BUT DONT SAVE IT AFTER YOU HAVE FOUND IT. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
