WebMaximus Posted October 10, 2013 Share Posted October 10, 2013 I've just reinstalled both Windows and FSX after a hardware upgrade and now with all my addon sceneries installed I thought it was time to do a FSX scenery update in EFB but when I run the scenery update it stops at the same time every time with the below error message. I've checked my scenery.cfg file and the area where it stops in particular but I can't see anything wrong. This is the error message... ...and this is what the data provider window looks like when this happens. Thanks in advance for any help how to solve this. WebMaximus Posted October 10, 2013 Author Share Posted October 10, 2013 I'm happy to tell you a just managed to fix the problem myself No idea what was wrong but what I did was to start FSX and then reorder the sceneries closest to the area where EFB gave this error (Area.146) and after that EFB passed the update without any problems. I then tried reordering the sceneries back to their original locations and did another scenery update in EFB and still no problems so appearently something was corrupt in the scenery.cfg file which was fixed by doing this little exercise.
