  1. Hello Urs, Thanks for your reply, Ok, so is the antivirus removing it when I install on the host computer or the display unit computer? How can I stop this from happening, do I exlude the aivlasoft folders from the antivirus ? Could the simconnect issue being inactive be due this bin file not found? thanks, Sebastian
  2. Hi Wildeboer, Thanks for your reply however I can't understand it I should also add that when the display unit is initialising, I get the following error message: microsoft .NET framework: unhandled exception has ocurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click quit, the aplication will close immediately. could not find file '\\mypcname\Users\myusername\Appdata\Local\Aivlasoft\EFB\AivlaSoft.Efb.DataProvider\n.bin'. Hope someone can help Sebastian
  3. Hi there, I have recently downloaded and installed the demo of the EFB, I followed the manual and I set it up as follows: - Main PC installed Data provider, Win 8.1 - Separate Mac running parallels Win 8.1 I setup the network and shared the folders as per the manual, and I can access all the folders from both PC's, so the network is working fine. I run the data provider and this one sets up fine, and is ready and running. There was one error that says 'cannot find transition altitudes', however I notice it does say also 'Simconnect: Inactive' When I load the display unit on the other PC it gets stuck on 'initialising' forever, I even left it for an hour and nothing. I have searched the forum and read every thread but haven't found any solutions, can anyone help?? I really want to buy this but I need it to work I also tried installing all the versions of simconnect that come with FSX: steam edition, is their a way to check if simconnect is installed correctly and up to date etc? Thanks in advance, Sebastian
