Hi Urs, My versions are: 1.6.8.33244 DataProvider 1.6.8.33245 DisplayUnit Both of these versions were the ones that come from the download: Latest version is 1.6.8 on the AivlaSoft EFB website. After reading your last reply and looking around I went to the AivlaSoft website downloaded the 1.6.8 update and installed it. (to see what happened) The DataProvider went thru its scenery loading phase, then restarted. Still 1.6.8.33244. I tried to load the DisplayUnit and it just flashes across the screen, for a second, and goes to the error. (Which it has been doing since the error started appearing and showing up) I can read the version if I try to start it several times. (after closing after the error) It flashes too quick for my eyes and trying to get a pic of it doesn't seem to work. Ok, It's still 1.6.8.33245 1.6.8.33244 DataProvider 1.6.8.33245 DisplayUnit Thank you for your time. I appreciate this very much. Regards, Dennis

Hi Urs, I hope all is well with you. So, I ended up uninstalling EFB and .NET. Rebooted computer 2 times. Installed .NET 4.0 Rebooted computer 2 times. Installed EFB 1.6.8 Rebooted computer. I start DataProvider and it does its loading and loading of scenery properly ( as it's been doing faithfully ) then restarts. I start DisplayUnit and it loads to the first page, I click OK**, it pops up and says I need to pick an aircraft...I pick default airbus 321. As soon as I click OK, the errors pop us same as the picture above. ** I was filling in all the paths before but it didn't seem to make any difference so I just tried to do the minimum to make the program load. I have no idea. My P3D v3 won't start with .NET 4.0 but it will with .NET 4.5 and above. Regards, Dennis Bergen

Hi Urs, After the .NET Framework 4.0 install hanging for about 20 hours I found another .NET 4.0 to install so before I tried to install this one I rebooted my computer then tried to install the new 4.0. 15 seconds later the .NET Framework 4.0 was installed. Rebooted the computer twice. Installed the EFB 1.6.8 Same error as in the pic above. Tried to start P3D v3 and it fatal exceptioned. Tried to open P3Dv3 several times and still the fatal. Rebooted my computer. Uninstalled EFB 1.6.8. Rebooted computer. P3D v3 still wouldn't start. Installed .NET Framework 4.6.2. Tried P3D v3. P3D v3 worked fine now. Installed EFB 1.6.8. Same error as pic above. Uninstalled EFB, rebooted computer. Reinstalled EFB 1.6.8. Same error as pic above. Uninstalled EFB and then installed/uninstalled in several different locations but still same error. So as of right now my P3D v3 loads fine, EFB 1.6.8 is installed, DataProvider seems to continue to load and work fine but DU still giving me error as in pic above. .NET Framework 4.6.2 is installed. I'm tired and need a snooze so am going to get some rest. I'll check back here later. Kind regards, Dennis Bergen

Hi Urs, Thank you for the speedy reply. I tried to install the 4.0 but it read I had a higher .net and through some research I see that I had to uninstall my NET 4.6 first. I uninstalled my 4.6 and am trying to install 4.0 , and so far, it's going over three hours to install so I'll post here after the 4.0 install and I install EFB 1.6.8. Hi. I have gotten to really love this program. Windows 7 64 bit P3D 3.4 (?) (the newest one) I bought a new SSD hard drive. Moved my P3D v3 to the new drive G:, changed the original drive (E:) to H: changed my new drive (G:) to E: , then changed the H: drive to G: With me so far? P3D v3.4? (the newest one) Flight sim works fine, FSCommander works fine, other games work and programs I've moved all work well. The last program I've tried to copy and have been working on but can't get to work properly, like it did before, is AivlaSoft 1.x. registered I've un-installed the EFB, rebooted my computer twice then installed the EFB 1.6.8 from the website. Filled in the folder paths and such. closed the program and rebooted to see if it worked. I got this error: Uninstalled and re-installed two more times with the same results. Uninstalled and tried installing the 1.6.5 I had and just tried an install just trying to fill in the least required. Only thing that popped up was I needed an aircraft so clicked the pmdg 777LR and the EFB crashed with this error again. I have no idea what to do now or where to start looking. I'll keep looking but am going in circles now. Does this error pic give any clue? I tried to find an error log but can't find one, sorry. Thanks for your time. Oh yes, the DataProvider seems to work excellent, through all the attempts. Dennis Bergen edit to add: NET Framework 4.5 and EFB is on just one computer, no networks. Tried NET Framework 4.6 as well. I'm done now until I hear feedback.
