  3. Hey there, I have recently purchased the EFB add-on to extend my Flight Sim experience. Now I am trying to set-up a distributed installation. My Main PC, the Data Provider, is running on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. My second machine, whit the Display Unit, is running on Windows 8 Pro x64. The most important step to set-up the distributed installation is to make the connection between the 2 devices, and that's where it gets weird. When I enter the IP of the Data Provider and click the check name button, it shows me a Red Cross. When I enter the computer name of the Data Provider, it also shows me the red cross. When I try to click on Ok, to finalize the settings page it will give me the following message: "You either have to change the server mode to 'local' or you must define a valid computer name on which the 'EFB Data Provider' is running" The strange thing is, that I have Active Sky 2012 running on the Windows 8 machine and that working well, so the connection between the 2 machine's is active and functioning. I know that I am entering the correct IP and Server Name, its the information that the Data Provider give's me. Can anyone help me with the solution for this problem? Many Thanks! Ivo
