I have to say the AXE handles the change in STARs pretty well compared to some other products. I like to use STARS as I get the right decent rates right from the top and also not a sudden direction change. I'm hoping URS will comment and say accurate the prefered runway to use is when modifiying the flightplan on the set up page

Just after some friendly advice please from anyone. I'm using EFB on every flight now as I'm only using pmdg 747 and AXE. When I'm planning a flight what is the best way to decide confirm which is the best runway to use for landing so I can select an appropriate STAR and runway so I'm not going against AI traffic when I get to my destination, or frantically trying to change my approach, STAR, arrival procedures because I've just found out from ATIS/ATC that I should be heading to a totally different runway. Also I have EFB receiving weather data from REX and use the metar reports for the airports to fill in appropriate information in the FMC, but nothing ever seems to tie in with The conditions in FSX, which is not reading the REX data correctly? I've never seen the Baro ref the same in FSX and EFB at the same time, even after refreshing right up till the last minute. Jason
