Yep, I was doing that and had an active PF. Closed it down, loaded the FP again but not there
I re installed and all working again. Gremlins -
I am using the latest version of EFB2
Closed my ATC ribbon bar (that shows the ATC along my route) and now I cannot find how to turn it back on.
All help appreciated. -
Hi
I have just updated to the latest version of V2 EFB and now I get NO vatsim traffic in the client, I can see online ATC but no traffic.
All help aprecieated.
Thanks
Edited to add that this is resolved...
Finger troubles - I never noticed that the upgrade had turned off the Traffic options in the client. Resolved now. -
Resolved.
I did two things.
Updated the display unit - which included resetting the path to the data provider etc.
found the following info and shared all the following folders described.
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator X (or your FSX/P3D installation folder)
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX or Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3 (or if on Vista/7, C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX or Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3)
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\My Documents\Flight Simulator X Files or Prepar3D v3 Files (or if on Vista/7, C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files or Prepar3D v3 Files)
Working now

Hi Steve
Alas, ticking the top box makes no difference. P3D (FSX in screenshot) is not genetarting any traffic, I have that option off in the sim. All of the traffic is being supplied from Vpilot. The EFB provider can see it on my main PC, but the Display unit on the laptop cannot.
I am going to have a play with sim connect folders and see if they need share rights?Chann

Hi,
I have been using EFB for many years with FSX over a home network and all has been fantastic, however:
Recently I have upgraded to P3D V3.1 (on my master (server) PC with Ultimate Traffic 2 and a connection to VATSIM through Vpilot
I took the oppertunity to upgrade my My EFB Provider to version 1.6.5.18356.
No I am getting NO traffic in the display unit (Settings untouched)
I am however seeing AI traffic in the AI Aircraft Monitor display.
In the Display unit 'Online Traffic' is enabled for both tick boxes.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi I am running EFB over two PC's and the main part (server) crashes on load... It presents me with a dialog to Continue or Close, but when I select Continue it leaves me with a frozen window and Close simply closes the software.
When I click continue, it freezes and I cannot access the menu's but it does report (display) that it it doing things. Alas It will not allow me to close the program under this condition as it says it needs to start a connection before it can be closed ???
Any help apreaciated.
Error log displays....
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging

For example:
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
