  1. Thanks for the clarification Andy. I'll proceed with the purchase of EFB and practice FSX resource management. Randy
  2. It is my understanding that AI traffic is contained in a BGL file and if one is loading live traffic every time FSX runs, you have to run the DataProvider. If you don't, the air traffic at the gates in FSX is not the same as what is shown in on the Display Unit. I assume the DataProvider still contains the prior "live" AI traffic if you do no rerun. With the rerun, the problem is upon landing the problem occurs again (FSX/Display AI mismatch) and the only way to resolve the problem is to run the DataProvider again and that adds insult to injury because the flightplan must be reloaded. I have not actually tried that solution because it was illogical and unrealistic and would kill the Radar Contact taxi to gate portion of the flight. Perhaps I should have tried it before the demo period ended! Since you do not know AirNav FS Live Traffic I guess you cannot offer a solution and I hope there is one out there because I really like the product and would like to purchase it. Randy
  3. I've just finished the demonstration period for the EFB and the only issue I have is my use of AirNav FS Live Traffic. Since I use Live Traffic I have to run the Data Provider at every startup in order to get the correct AI aircraft at my airport. It seems, however, at time of landing the aircraft at the airport is not the same as the aircraft shown on the Display Unit. Is anyone familar with this issue and how it can be addressed? I would really like to purchase the EFB but this problem is holding me back...
