  1. OK, thanks Urs. I did my first full flight with the program yesterday and it's outstanding! This program is extremely well put together and the documentation is equally as good. I am very quick to recommend it to others now. Thanks for this. One remaining question - my flight was from CYUL to KMSP (Montreal Canada to Minneapolis, USA). The add-on scenery I have adds a runway (17-35) at KMSP, which of course was flagged after I re-ran the database update and built my flight plan for there. Unfortunately it also caused several disconnects between the Dataprovider and Display unit while enroute. I read in the documentation that you can't actually add a runway; only correct runways that have been renamed. What I'm wondering is, I can pretty much decode the data in "wpNavAPT.txt" except for the last 10 digits after the period. Are you able to tell me where those digits come from or what they represent so that I might be able to add the runway, or is that proprietary? If so, no problem, and if I did try to actually add it, I'd sure be backing the file up before adding anything to it (actually I've already backed up all my txt files just in case ). Thanks very much Urs. Great job and a super program! Glenn
  2. Good Morning, I am about to reassign various runways in the runways.txt file as per Ops Manual, Section 2, Page 7 (bottom). My question is, are these entries (i.e. PAFA 01 02 PAFA 19 20 PAFA 01L 02L PAFA 19R 20R PAFA 01R 02R PAFA 19L 20L PAFA 01Water 02C PAFA 19Water 20C) separate NEW entries at the bottom of the file (appended after the last runway entry in the file) or should I overwrite the current entry, leaving the remainder of the data intact of course? Thanks very much . Glenn
  3. Good Morning Urs, OK, that's fine - no problems with that. Having had only the one program, I had nothing to compare so didn't realize that they were manufacturer-specific. I understand yours has some enhancements as well according to the Ops Manual and Installation Manual, which is nice. Really appreciate the help Urs! Looking forward to my first flight with it once I finish reading the manuals. Thanks again. Glenn
  4. Good Morning, I'm a new user and have just installed EFB. Now I see that EFB installs the Navigraph database to its own folder. Also though, I have been running Navigraph for a while for PMDG aircraft, and that Navigraph data is stored in a Navigraph folder under the root FSX folder. Because I already have a Navigraph folder/database in my FSX system, I originally opted to not install the EFB version, cancelling that part of the install as per Installation & Configuration Manual instructions and pointing the EFB Data Provider to my current Navigraph installation folder instead. However, when attempting to initialize the Data Provider, it failed due to not being able to find the SID's/STAR's folder which my current installation doesn't have, although I have SID's and STAR's available in the 737NGX and MD-11 FMC's. As such, I reinstalled the EFB program, opting this time to go ahead with the Navigraph database, and the following initialization went fine. However, I now have 2 Navigraph databases on my system - one in the normal EFB folder and one in the FSX root folder. My question here is, when I update my Navigraph cycle, do I install the update to both locations (I would think you'd want to keep the two in sync)? Alternatively, could I copy the SID/STAR folder from the EFB version to the FSX>Navigraph database, then point EFB Data Provider program to that? It would be preferable to have only one database I would think, but I want to make sure they are compatible. FYI, I did search for this issue ahead of time and while I found information on Navigraph here, there wasn't anything that addressed this specific issue. Thanks very much for the help. Glenn
