Good afternoon,
Thank you for your quick response and sorry for my delay.
My problems started during a back-up when the software I used to back up did a reboot ... and everything was lost ...
My worst nightmares became reality.
So I made a reformat with new installation of windows 7, drivers, FSX add-ons and other programs.
Unfortunately, the EFB was the only one who could not reactivate.
There were no hardware changes since the last successful installation.
What I did since the last post:
I checked with my internet service provider to rule out problems with proxy.
I checked the doors: they are open on the firewall, according to the installation manual.
I also can do a ping to the registration server.
But ... testing doors through sites like grc.com, these ports (13 and 80) were listed as closed, even with the firewall totally disabled for purposes of testing.
Should I consider this as true or these types of tests are not reliable?
If so, what else could be blocking these ports?
This computer is only used for flight simulation and its installation is as clean as possible.
The firewall is the original windows 7 (Ultimate, 64-bit) and anti-virus is Microsoft Security Essentials.
Installed Programs: FSX, PMDG 737, PMDG JS4100, ASE, REX, Linda, EZCA, IVAP, Trackir5, Aerosoft NavDataPro, Google Chrome.
Suggestions are welcome.
Thank you,
Elmerson Pitrowsky
