  1. I am still in trial mode - got a couple of weeks to run - and am having trouble getting the Data Provider started. It checks the Date Server each time it starts to confirm I am still within the trial period. I don't have an issue with that. But, at the moment I am experiencing lots of trouble with my ISP and the link is very slow. That is not a problem with EFB of course, but it does mean EFB, or Data Provider, is not getting a response from the Date Server quickly enough. And if it fails to get a valid response, it refuses to start Data Provider. It would be nice if the system allowed a little more time before it decides there is no Date Server. Yes my link IS working. After all I am typing this online, in between waiting for one of my attempts to get EFB going. By the time anything is done about this, my trial period will be over and I will probably be a registered user by then and won't need to check any Date Server. But the suggestion might help someone else?
  2. I am not using Air Display so cannot be too sure how to help you here, but suggest you try Air Display with something other than EFB - choose something simple - and see if the touch screen works there. If not, you have an issue to raise with the Air Display support. I am using DisplayLink, a free package for both the PC and the iPad, and it works beautifully with EFB. However it does not support touch screen input, so the iPad is "simply" a second display and you use the PC's mouse to control the EFB window displayed on the iPad. Just as you would with any multi display setup. Check it out at http://www.displaylink.com/support/downloads_ipad.php On this subject, there is an item in the FAQ here relating to the iPad. I would like to see a reference to DisplayLink included in that FAQ item, especially as DisplayLink is free, and it does work!
