  1. I see. A simconnect issue. Is there any way of retaining the flight data, routing and tracking on the display unit, when rebooting the data provider? Cheers.
  2. Hi there, This is an issue I have more or less, persisted through across multiple installations and 'reformats' of both, FSX and my computer, respectively. I have no issues making AI appear on the charts at the beginning of the flight. It is some time between climbing to cruise flight level, and arriving at the destination, AI traffic disappears. By the time I get to my destination airport, AI traffic is no where to be seen on the charts of the display unit. One way which I believe may occasionally, remedy the the issue, is to alt tab out of FSX, and reboot the dataprovider during decent or just before. After going through the annoyances of re-loading my entire flight plan on the display unit, I'm sometimes lucky enough to see traffic on charts during the cruise (which weren't originally there), and traffic around the airport as I approach. Another issue to note is that sometimes, I cruise with a plane flying the same route. This plane will stay on the charts with me the whole way; however, there will be other planes in the vicinity which will not. Again, the rebooting of the dataprovider will usually bring those planes back into view. Any remote ideas as to what my issue may be and how I may go about resolving it? A few extra details which may or may not bear significance: - My display unit is a separate computer, connected over my LAN via wifi. The dataprovider is on a wired connection to the modem. - Traffic of interest is OrbX's AU Traffic package v4.00 - Running Windows 8 on the dataprovider PC, with FSX - Running Windows 7 on the display unit Thank you, Daniel
  3. Had a bad feeling this may be the case. Thanks for following up, Otto. Cheers, Dan.
  4. Hi there, I can't help but notice, AIRAC after AIRAC cycle that I've updated Aivlasoft with, and client version after client version - Coffs Harbour still has the old ICAO in the Aivlasoft database. For example on the Route Setup page. Try setting the origin or destination airport to YCFS. - No airport is found. Try YSCH (the old ICAO for Coffs Harbour), and it comes up. I'm guessing based on this, the airport database on the EFB operates independently to AIRAC. So what to do - will this be fixed any time soon? Cheers, Dan
