  1. Ok so as you guessed, the Surface Pro display settings were set to display a larger UI / Fonts. Hence EFB text was overflowing and cut. I reduced the display settings to smaller and all displays now... But soooo tiny Cheers Michel
  2. Hi, thanks for the help, I will take a look to see if the font size is changed. I did not modify it but perhaps the default font settings are creating this issue. I will take a look again and will let you know. Thanks Michel . I did a look at the specifications of the Surface Pro 2 tablet and it has a native display resolution of 1920 x 1080 (HDMI). This should be sufficient to show all the dialogs and windows without hiding the buttons. Did you change the general font size of Windows or anything similar?
  3. Yes I found .Net 4.5 there already and activated and over it was 3.5 but not activated. However EFB requested 3.5 during installtion so I had to activate 3.5 and that made it install and set stuff... In any case it runs nicely but did not set it to connect with FSX and used it yet. The only glitch I saw for now is the UI cutting the bottom buttons
  4. Ok I finally got the Surface Pro 2 and installed EFB on it last night. It requested .Net 3.5 that I installed / activated in the device although 4.5 was already there. So I presume it requires 3.5 I did not connect it to FSX or did any test yet but I will report my results when I do... However, I noticed a bug in the UI, the bottom buttons are cut by the application window border and a small portion of their top is showing... Is it something related to Windows 8? Thanks
  5. Hi I am wondering if the EFB runs with the latest .NET such as the 4.5 ? I am asking this because I am getting a Surface Pro tablet and it seems that Windows 8.1 comes with this version of .NET (4.5) BTW does EFB run ok on Windows 8? Thanks
  6. Hi, I am wondering if anyone already tried EFB on a Windows 7 or 8 tablet? Does it work and what screen resolution you had on the tablet? I am looking for a tablet I can put next to my desktop (a laptop takes too much space on the desk) and that I can take advantage of its touch screen to control EFB I found many windows tablet with 1366 X 768 pixels and fair price... Do you recommand any specific one? Cheers Michel
  7. Hi, Thanks allot for the information, please keep me updated regarding this issue. There is also a possibility that I will forget about the Android or IOS tablets and simply wait for Windows 8 Tablets to hit the market, they might be a straight forward device to run EFB Cheers MK
  8. Ok I just heard from the developers who did Mono that the applications will not work as they are, they need to be rebuilt using the Mono kit... So unfortunately it will not work on the Android or IOS as is :-/ Cheers
  9. Hi, I am supposed to have the Android Asus TF700 tablet as a gift when it comes out. The tablet will have 1900x1200 screen resolution And I will be getting an EFB license for the tablet I heard about Mono (http://xamarin.com/monoforandroid) being a framework or something like that, and it allows Windows .NET applications to run on IOS and Android. So I am wondering did anyone tried Mono and if you did, did you succeed to make EFB run on a a tablet with it (either IOS or Android)? Thanks Michel
