  1. That's not only a guess, that's the truth . Sometimes - depending on the scenery - it's hard to figure out which is the right ICAO code for the country of a certain airport and one of the parameters that is then considered is the name of the country. If the name is not given in English the above mentioned warning text appears in the logfile. is there any way for me to individuate the responsible bgl? Maybe a special scanning log...? I wouldn't pass all my sunday activating and deactivating sceneries... thanks in advance. fabio
  2. Since there seems to be no clearly defined rule where to place the bgl-files and every scenery designer has it's own preferences of "where is the right place" to save the files, EFB analysis the scenery.cfg file for any scenery path which is marked as "active". It takes that path and must scan all the bgl-files which are placed below that path. That's a "disadvantage" of an open system. i perfectly understand your reason, thanks for patience! fabio
  3. After some hours of research I found the problem!!! I have also installed the NL2000 scenery. In one of its folder (the "libraries" one) together with standard "scenery" and "texture" folders there was also a named "optional" folder. In this optional folder ther was a different version of file NVX06010.bgl which contains NavData of south Europe and caused the MAL VOR to be present. It seems that EFB during update searchs for .bgl in every subfolders of FSX activated folders, instead of searching only in "scenery" subfolder... ... the same way as FSX does and this was the reason why ancient MAL VOR did not appear in FSX map Please see attached pic. Ciao Fabio
  4. I am using LIMC from SimGiants but I cannot find any installation log file. However I corrected the file containing the Navaid and also installed updated bgl file from here: http://hsors.pagesperso-orange.fr/index.html I have opened all .bgl file for LIMC with utility easynavs but there is no trace for MAL VOR so I really do not understand where this could be. I will try to decompile the bgl... and regarding the warning during database update?
  5. Hi, I am a new user of EFB and I am very happy with it. I am experiencing two small problems: 1. During database rebuild I am getting this warning: 2011-05-28 13:01:27 Info Index creation running ... 2011-05-28 13:01:38 Warning Could not find ICAO code for country Italia. 2011-05-28 13:01:38 Warning ICAO code definition violation: LNMCW, length > 4 2011-05-28 13:01:39 Warning Could not find ICAO code for country Italia. 2011-05-28 13:01:39 Info Index creation successfully done How can I correct it? 2. At Malpensa LIMC together with correct MMP VOR, it is indicated also the old VOR: MAL 111.2 The strange thing is that in FSX map there is no MAL VOR but only the new one, also in EFB NavData file there is no MAL VOR. I suppose this could only arrive from FSX, but how can it be possible if it is not seen at all on FSX map? Please see attached pics. How can I correct it? Thanks in advance for your kind help. Fabio
