I am using cycle 1312. I generated a flight plan in FS Build EGLL-KJFK, when I copied and pasted into EFB it gave an error "cannot find waypoint ENE.Parch1 in Airway J581".The effect in EFB put a 650 mile distance from YJR direct to KJFK. I have not put in any sids or stars . I then sent this info. to Navagraph and got 2 replies:- 1.Oddly enough, I generated a similar plan but used J573 rather than J581 and ENE.PARCH1 was accepted by EFB with no issues. The only real difference is that ENE is an end point of 573 while being the second point of 581. This seems to be a quirk of EFB. I have encountered similar issues with waypoints in the Aerosoft Airbus Extended from time to time. 2."Oddly enough I too auto generated an FSBUILD plan and it used J573 and got the same error message from Aivlasoft "cannot find waypoint ENE.Parch1 in Airway J573". So I agree Aivlasoft EFB does seem quirky." Any thoughts on this? David

Urs, No, I havn't changed anything as far as I know! But everything else works ok so I'll leave it. I could re-install but it hardly seems worth it. best regards, david

Thank you Urs, I have done as you said and all works ok. it puts the alternate route next the the original and as long as I put in the Arrival and Approach it shows the plane as it should. No top of descent is marked on the new route but that is to be expected. I note that the first time I did it , it just put in the departure and arrival air ports-presumably because I started at the Star rather than enroute. By the way, when I click one of the bottom boxes(enr, ndb etc.) they work ok but there is no yellow border around them as there is on a friend of mine? I am up to date with all the updates.I find the program superb, it adds a new dimension to FSX and I would not be without it. David

I am using the EFB with PMDG MD11. All works very well. I am now going to try using an alternate airport for the first time. the same alternate is inEFB and the MD11 fmc. I know what to do with the fmc but is there something to do with EFB when I do this? Will the new route and airport show up? Can I or do I put the new arrival and approach? Thank you for any help.
