If you generate an FSX flightplan at simroutes, you can load that plan into EFB. (Use the FSX option if it's an FSX XML flightplan, otherwise use the 2004 option if it's not.) thanks for the reply. if i understand you correctly , i have done just that . i will generate a flightplan , after copy and paste route details from routefinder. when i get a plan i will pull down the level d and download to folder. when i do fsx the file goes to the flight sim folder in my documents. when i run EFB and get the flight from FSX folder it will say is not a valid file. where exacty do i put this file after it asks where to go and why is it not the right file. i also notice that if there is a file in the fsx folder for EFB it will have a efb in front of it Thanks...........Robert

thanks for the reply , im still not getting this , everything is set up and working . here is what i hope thats works so far. 1. i go to flightaware and get there flightplan , and i then copy the vectors and routhes and i get the flight level also. 2. i then go to simrouthes and generate a flight using the vectors and routes say from kind to klax. 3. i will pull down a section wanting to know if for level d or fsx and so on. i will get both FSX and level d flightplans so that i can load the FL into radar contact and level d. im sure im doing this the hard way but this is what i know after a few weeks of ssetting up. how can i get all three toghether in one sync. is there and easier way of doing this. baby steps for me thanks.......................Robert

hello folks i have read the flight manual but im a little confused or i missed it. i love this program and i think i will be getting it , but i need to know how to get , level d and radar contact and your software to work toghether. i want to use the smae flight plan that i generate for the level d to work in EFB and radar contact. is there a way to get them in sync with each other. i know flightwares will generate a FP that will run in level d and radar contact , it will convert the file to a rte. and pln. how can i get it into EFB. well i guess im confused , i have your software loaded on two machines data provider on the server and the display on the second computer. all works well except for i dont know what you mean by start up. if all is working well and i start up fsx on com 1 and then i start up data disply unit it will not connect unless i start the data base on the first com. and while in flight it will want to update and black out the screen and then return to flight.

hello folks im trying the demo version of EFB and i like it a lot , im tring to learn charts and procedures and this is an exellant way to do thaat. however i do have a problem, im running a network with other software ( radar contac , flightsim commander , ASE , widefs , ) they all work very well and when i loaded your software there were no problems setting up the network. 1. does the data base on the server have to be started first before FSX or is there a way to do this automatically. 2. is EFB suppose to update in the middle of flying and everything goes blank, very annoying. EFB is going to be a very inportant addition to my system if i can get it configured right. im sure im missing something here , and i have read the manuals several times already, i just need a little push.
