  1. Thank you for your quick response! I'm using Windows7 ultimate also, and I'm able to share the directory. Only in share "with specific people", the other options dont show. I'm connected to a home network, so that's strange... Using the 2nd computer I can go to the 1st. Open all the shared folders, edit documents etc, but not the files shared in the Appdata directory. I do see the shared folder, but when I want to open it, it's says that I don't have enough rights. Both accounts are the same. I've searched on the internet for a workaround, but other people are also having the same problems.. Your other option works!! I can get it connected now!! Thank you! I'll synchronize this folder with the one on my 2nd computer every time I install new scenery. I hope that someday there will be an option to change that directory. Thanks again for your wonderful program and support, I'll go and give it a try now!
  2. Hello, first of all thank you for this program! It looks very nice. I'm a professional pilot and I think the interface is better then the real EFB we use. (one that's based on a 133mhz computer..) Unfortunately I can't connect the DataProvider with the DisplayUnit. I can't get the Provider Data folder shared with the Unit. It's a file sharing problem. Using Windows 7 ultimate on both computers I can share every folder I want (with read/write permission), with the exception of the Appdata folder. I've tried everything, granting access to all folders, systemdrives etc.. But none of this works. It's because on some computers Windows7 doesn't allow the Appdata folder to be accessed from the network. I've searched for a solution on the internet, even changed the appdata folder to another location, but not successful. So my question is, could you please add a function that the Dataprovider writes to a User-Specified folder?? Like c:\AivlaSoft\Data\ or something else. This would solve the problem and also makes your product compatible with those windows7 versions. Thank you very much in advance! Looking forward to a solution. Kind regards, G.T. Sijl
