No, I can't  find it. Thank's for the info. Now I understand. P3D should have installed it by default in V4.

    Best regards,

HI Jacques, if your using the default P3D scenery of CYYC, perhaps downloading  and installing this freeware version of CYYC scenery from AVSIM Library will fix your problem. Here is the link:

     https://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=197529&CatID=p3dscen

You will have to register if your not already a member of AVSIM. Its free.

  2. HI Guys, I have solved my problem. It looked like my AI scenery files were in double. It was my fault. I put the AI scenery path in a add-ons.xml file that I had created and also loaded the AI scenery in the P3D scenery Library. I removed the path in the add-ons.xml file and voila!

I love EFB2 and Thank you for your hard work guys!

    EFB2 is the best!

HI, I decided to reinstall My traffic Prfessional 6 after having not using it for a couple of years. I installed it on another hard drive and It worked great. Until I have noticed that inside the simulator all the AIs are sitting axactly at their gates and my own aircraft also but when looking at the EFB2 Client map, all the aircrafts are OFF their respectual locations  including my own aircraft. Here I would post a picture of what is going but I can't because of size restriction. Could someone help me to fix this please. Thank you.

    To ALL:

We are tracing this misbehaviour at present and we are positive that an update can be released soon. It is not dependent on the way of installation (remote or common), but only on certain specific installation configurations. Apart from this it must also be said that EFB2 is functioning normally despite this false Warning Trigger.

HI Oscar, Thank you for looking this up for us. Its appreciated.

    Best Regards,

    Thank you Mario,

There's not much that I can see. I'm wondering a bit about the content of the scenery.cfg. Although you posted a screenshot of the installation path of your sceneries, there is NO entry for any TropicalSim path! So, something seems to be quite "off course" with your scenery.cfg.This something that we can't correct from our side.

There is also a warning that a scenery folder is missing.

HI Oscar, thank you again for taking the time to help me. I will check evrything and see if I can solve the scenery.cfg file problem.  Thanks again for your time especially on a Sunday.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Mario,

The file in question would most probably be the AF2_MYNN.bgl. Could you please create a support file and post it here? This might give us some more clues why this file was omitted. I take it that the airport is properly listed in the scenery.cfg?

HI, I have just checked and the scenery is not listed in the scenery.cfg. How is that possible?

    Hi Mario,

I take it that you use the "old style" scenery.cfg to administer the sceneries (the newer package system already being introduced but rarely used in P3D V3). The main question is, whether there is a useable AF2-type (AFCAD ground layout) BGL contained in the scenery. TropicalSim is one of the designers which does not provide this all the time in their older sceneries, because it is not really required for a scenery to display properly in P3D.

Could you please post a screenshot of the contents of the  "C:\Prepar3D v3\TropicalSim\NassauX\scenery\" folder? This would at least facilitate identification of the file in question. From there we could dig a bit deeper into investigation.

HI Lonewulf47, thanks for your quick reply. Here are the content pictures of the scenery folder as requested. I hope there is somthing you can do to correct the situation. I forgot to mention that the Nassau scenery is an old one made for FSX. I had to use Migration tool to install it. If you can't do anything no worries, I'll remove the scenery.

Thanks again for your help. It is appreciated.

HI, I have 3 or 4 addon sceneries that are not recognized or not being seen by efb2 even after I do a flight simulator update with the Aivlasoft EFB2 DbBuilder.

As an example, see the picture below:

    mynn.png.d00ab38dd4b7d1e6996079dd850db110.png

    See Add-on: NO

The .bgl files are located in the following directory folder: C:\Prepar3D v3\TropicalSim\NassauX\scenery\MYNN*.bgl

This is a Tropicalsim NASSAU (MYNN) scenery (one of the sceneries not detected by EFB2).

Any ideas of what could be the problem Please?

    Thank You

    Mario

  9. HI Oskar, Thank you so much for this update. I installed it, updated the sceneries via the dbbuilder, then like you said, I started P3D at the CYEG airport and my CYEG graphics are back to normal in the Client window. The problem is fixed thanks to you.

I just want to thank you so much for EFB2, it is so awsome to fly with it. I could not fly without it. I have attached a picture of the client window. See below.

    Thanks for your great support.

  10. HI Oskar, I think that I have already tried to start the sim at CYEG but it did not resolve the problem but I'll try again and let you know what happen. Next, I'll reinstall the addon airport scenery and see what happens. When I use the fliter ON, then use CYEG as my departure airport it shows me the next airport nearby Edmonton but my airplane is not there.

    Thank you for your support.

HI, I have installed an addon scenery of CYEG (Edmonton Airport in Canada) and uninstalled it because I did not like it. So after reverting back to the default scenery, I did update the EFB2 dbbuilder scanning the sceneries. The problem is that when I open the EFB2 client, the CYEG airport is completely gone. I have uncheck the PRFL filter just to see if it was a profile problem but it did not work. It shows CYEG in the select Airport list when PRFL filter is unchecked but it does not show any of the Airport graphics. The default airport in the simulator is working just fine but somehow, the client cant see it. The client screen is empty. Do you have any Ideas why?

Here is a copy of what it sais in the airportFiles_P3D3.txt about CYEG Airport:

    CYEG C:\Prepar3D v3\Scenery\World\scenery\ADE_FTX_NRM_CYEG_elevation_adjustment.BGL (1)
         C:\Prepar3D v3\Scenery\0201\scenery\APX17130.bgl (21)

    Thank you
