Yes, they are on the same network and I see the server computer in the network folder. the client computer is running windows 8 and the server is on windows 10. Do you think that may be the problem?

I corrected the path for Active Sky which fixed the problem trying to download the METAR. However, the remote client is still not connecting to the server.

Thank you for letting me know about the incorrect active sky path. I am not ignoring it, I just have not had the chance to fix that yet. Working on trying to get the remote connection to work first. Thanks again.

I also cannot get the client running on my laptop to communicate with the PC where the server and simulator are installed. I am running windows 10 and p3d V4.3. I have done the things mentioned in this question area but still not working. It does work if I run it on the same PC but not remotely. It just hangs when it tries to connect with the IP address saying "waiting for server on computer".
