  1. Sorry I can't send the two files via this forum Max total size: 52.61 kB. The server file is too big. Do you have an e-mail address where I can try.
Or it would be better if you could look at my computer via the Teamviewer

  2. Stephen,

i think you dont really understand the problem. After compressing, with your export tool, we have a size of 157kb for the server-file, when i do it manually, its 99kb !!! After compressing.

    What shall we do?

Hello Urs, what is the problem? When I start the simulator with Airport EDDM and then call up the EFB I have the status Simulator Boeing 777-200LR Ground. However, the start screen always shows LSZH Zurich with the error Aircraft is not located at this airport.
However, I have only had this error since I cleaned the computer and reinstalled WIN10 64 bit Prof.
    Kind regards

  5. Hi, the answer from Navigraph is.

This actually isn’t a bug. SimBrief expands the SID/STAR names to their full names for the ATC FPL. In the AIRAC data, procedure names longer than 6 characters aren’t possible, so “NAPSA1B” is shortened to “NAPS1B” (the same logic is used for many SID/STARs, including many in Europe).

Since SimBrief’s ATC FPL follows all applicable real world rules, the full SID/STAR names are used. For example, trying to validate a route with “NAPS1B” with Eurocontrol will return an error. Only “NAPSA1B” is recognized.

For Aivlasoft’s part, they will need to handle this within their software I’m afraid. Both route variations (with either short or long procedure names) are available in the XML data file SimBrief provides. It’s up to Aivlasoft to parse the correct one based on their needs (right now they are reading the full procedure names, whereas clearly they need to be using the shortened names instead to match the AIRAC data).

As an example, the route string with full procedure names can be found in <atc><route_ifps>, and the shortened version is in <atc><route>. It seems like Aivlasoft might be reading the full ATC FPL instead at <atc><flightplan_text>, and if so, they may need to perform a string replace, using the <atc><flightplan_text> as a base and replacing the route from <atc><route_ifps> with <atc><route>. That’s just one possible approach as an example, another option is to rebuild the ATC FPL string using the individual data under <atc>. The best/easiest solution will depend on their needs of course.

Feel free to forward this info to Aivlasoft, and they are of course free to contact me directly if they require more guidance or have any questions about this.

    Cheers,

  6. Hi Urs!

Transmission error between SimBrief and EFB2 client.

When opening the flight plan in EFB2 the message Invalid Routing appears. In SimBrief the FP is displayed correctly but not in EFB.

How can I correct or delete the incorrect SID?

  8. What do I have to change so that the time in the simulator and EFB run syncron.
This has the following background for a flight over the Atlantic I increase the simulation rate. The display of the current flight time in the EFB does not run syncronously with the simulator time.
e.g. Flight Frankfurt - New York,  Auto Cruise Time 4 times
    Simulator flight time 6 hrs,
    EFB flight time 3 hrs.

  9. Hi Urs!

Sorry, EFB flighttime is 04_23_58 hrs, my real flighttime is correct 10_58 hrs.

I can not understand where in the EFB the current flight time of four std come from.
Actual Flight Time is automatically started at Liftoff and stopped at touchdown, according to user manual.

Hi all, how does this flight time in EFB v 2.2 # 132 come about. Calculated flight time for a flight from Bangkok to Munich with the 777-300 was 11:20 h. The actual flight time was 10:58 h. The displayed flight time in the EFB was04:23:58 h.
    How does this fit together.

    Hi,

Why does Tansonnhat Airport, Ho Chi Minh not display ILS 111.70 on Runway 07R.

According to LH-Airway, the airport has an ILS on Runways 07R, 25L and 25R.

Therefore, in EFB v 2.2 #130, I can only approach the airport via VOR_DME or RNAV.

    Thanks for help.

  13. I run the DbBuilder everyday.

I can't understand why this morning the airport is displayed with two runways. I will make a test flight in a few minutes. What was also strange to me was that I was shown two routes to UWWW Samara, although I have loaded only one via SimBrief. And I have two files in the screenshot. I have reinstalled last night some UpDate from the P3D and EFB v 2.2 #130 maybe there was somewhere the error.
