[Hold pattern]

Good day

 

Just asking. At certain airports on the approach there is a hold pattern shown on the Aivla map. is there a way that one can direct the aircraft into this hold via the instruments FMC GPS or whaterver so that the craft holds position automatically?

You were in a way right about the path. But here is the problem, which has been resolved. In the manual ( yes I do read thenm sometimes ) it states clearly that the install should not be on a cloud drive.

 

 

That was mistake one. disabled the stupid onedrive.

 

After a complete new install and let Aivlasoft decide how to run its business all seems in order.

Apart from installing on a cloud based drive I should be able to install it anywhere? Please correct me if I am wrong?

Hello Steven I have done this several times but is does not work, I also made sure that the "tool" that I use is correctly mapped to the correct directoty as mention in the original post.

For what ever reason my client does not see the newly installed Airac I have a current subscription and make use of the Navigraph FMS data manager. As far as i can see the path in both cases are correct. Iow on Navigraph and on Aivlasoft. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice now making sure that a reboot  between uninstalls. Aivlasoft is not complaining I get no errors or anything as far as I can see but when I run the server and the client they both show 1805.

 

The products works fine except the airac that does not want to update?

Found the problem. In MSFS there is an option where one can ask the sim to handle ATC. Big mistake as this injects rubbish.

I switched that of and all is working

I can select the freq on the ribbon and that will appear in the vpilot client. However the freq in efb atc ribbon is not the correct freq that VATSIM ATC wants me to connect to. And i cannot change it....

I run MSFS and when I connect to the Vatsim network I cannot adjust my radio to a freq, irrespective which aircraft.

 

In theattched image you will see YSSY-ATIS Sy_APP and SY_TWR are online but I an still quite a distance away from them. But the V-pilot client and the the ATC ribbon stay as per image.

 

If I try to use the Active button or enter a freq in Vpilot manuallt ( .com1 122.800) it just briefly connects and then goes back to the freq as indicated.

Hello When I try to get my license detail I get this. I have not saved my license detail as cleverbridge keeps it. What must I do to get my license detail if I want to do a new and fresh install

Thank you very much!! and apologies for the slow response on my side. However I have the same with quite a few airports. This is on MSFS  and the last that I used  was EGQS but there are more. What do you suggest. Mail everytime I get this?

I have noticed that in certain airport the taxiways are not visible. This is a 3rd party field I have loaded I have no errors anywhere.

I am not too sure. What I do know, irrespective of what sim you sue if you use joinFS we are visible to each other in each others own individual sim.

 

But we are not connected to Vatsim and thus not visible in EFB.

Interesting answer but my computing skill are hardware and not so much fiddling with software. Hence the question. But thanks for the feedback. This means I will nee to get the guys to hop onto VATSIM

Is it possible that certain airports might exist in the one db but not in the other.

 

For example EGBQ (Weymouth, UK) also know as Stancombe Farm Farm Airstrip can be found in MSFS DB but not in P3D DB
