Hi Henrik,
I'm sorry you can't change this color. This is currently not possible, but I will add a new color for this purpose. Should be available with next update.
Many thanks! Really appreciate it!
While we're on the topic, would it be possible to separate these into separate options?
That is, airway name, course and distance between points.

I am trying to replicate the Jeppesen Dark scheme for Aivlasoft, and I'm struggling to find the option to change the background for the course on the procedures:
This is the only option I have, but there is no way to change the background for it. Is this not configurable at all?
Edit: Apparently I have edited it, since it is no longer the default color. The question still remains: *which* setting is it...

As per the topic, it'd be nice to have a way to see how far from the touchdown zone a specific intersection would be, to help planning autobrakes when landing. This information is not always available on Navigraphs charts, and as far as I understand it the various EFBs used by companies have this information available. If this could be something that one could see in - for instance - the ARR window as a separate tab, that would be really nice.
-
This is a bit of a long shot, but one thing that would be really nice is to have SIGMET areas show up (with a toggle button). At the moment, I'm using SkyVector to see this information, which is fine, but having it interactive and showing on the EFB along the route (or just anywhere, like you are currently showing online Vatsim controllers) would greatly expand the usability of the EFB.
With the press of a toggle, you could get something like this, and clicking it would open up a window (similar to the WX/Dep/Arr window) showing the content of the SIGMET. Perhaps even having a "SIGMET along route" functionality to filter out irrelevant weather.
Thoughts? Would really like to hear what you guys think about this and if it is at all possible.

@Tivec was there other network traffic on the airport you saw in the simulator? Otherwise everything seems to work as it should.
That's just the issue - it is not consistent. I *sometimes* get traffic, sometimes not. It's just very moody. If you read my post above, I logged on to vatsim, there was *no* traffic on the EFB, but I could clearly see one aircraft in the simulator. I then disconnected, it did not show up as "red" traffic (but that's probably because the sim was running, as per the above comment from @ley). Next time I logged on Vatsim, it properly showed up. This is inconsistent. VERY inconsistent.

@Tivec it might be good for us to know what libraries you use to display the network traffic. Maybe this is causing the issue. Can you check if traffic is displayed on the map if you don't use VATSIM, but add some AI traffic directly within your simulator?
- I am using BVAI as my traffic library.
- I can see Vatsim traffic on ground *sometimes* when disconnected. Not this time.
- Logged in on Vatsim, saw no traffic in EFB, had one aircraft on a stand on the other side of the terminal.
- Waited ~5 minutes in hopes it would show up.
- Disconnected from Vatsim, and added AI traffic.
- AI Traffic shows up correctly.
- Removed AI traffic, they go away properly
- Connected to Vatsim, the aircraft on stand showed up
This is extremely inconsistent, and it makes this functionality hard to trust. Is the the airport empty, or does it actually have traffic?
The same goes for in the air. Yesterday I departed from LPPR and had three aircraft showing as on approach, but not moving. Checking Vatspy, they were not present in the area, and no aircraft showing in the simulator... It's just very inconsistent.

I suppose my issue is slightly different from the original issue, but just to be clear, I only see Vatsim traffic at most when I'm not connected, and even then it's only sporadically. Right now I'm sitting here watching an aircraft taxi on the ground, and there is no indication.
As you can see in this screenshot, the traffic monitor is showing nothing. For the record, I've had it running for at least 5 minutes (since I parked) and still do not see the traffic. vPilot is run as administrator, and connected to the network. Aivlasoft Client and Server is run as administrator as well as Prepar3d. Nothing on the map.
I never used to have any issues whatsoever on version 1, traffic was always visible on Vatsim there.
Here are my FSUIPC settings since that has been mentioned a few times.
Hope this can be resolved soon...

I'd like to put in my 2 cent into this issue. I see Vatsim traffic on the ground BEFORE logging in on vPilot, but once I log in the traffic is gone. Here's a sample screenshot from the sim:
As you can see, the Edelweiss aircraft is there, pushing back behind me.
On the overview map, I see no aircraft. TRFC is selected, VATSIM is green.
Traffic monitor is blank.
So, what gives? I *really* want to gbe able to see traffic on the ground...
-
Same issue here, I *sometimes* see traffic, but I've only seen them on the ground once or twice. I just had a plane take off on the airport I'm at, and not a single icon was showing on either ground map or global map.
Edit: This is on Vatsim. The vatsim label is green, but still no traffic. vPilot is running and I see the traffic in the simulator.

Always start the EFB Server with right-mouse-click, then "Run as administrator". See the manual "3 EN Server.pdf", first chapter.
If the Server recognizes a running P3D process, it is trying to figure out which version of P3D it is. This requires administrator rights.
I've set the shortcut to always run as administrator now, though I believe I did try running it as admin and still got that message. Anyhow, case closed, you can mark this as solved

I had the same error. Make sure that the server and client exec have "run as administrator" checked in the compatibility tab of properties when you right click on the exe file. That fixed it for me..
Thank you very much - I thought I had it set to run as admin, but apparently not!

I was running the server, earlier, chose to stop and quit as per the main menu, and the next time I try to run it I get this error:
The log contains this:

Hello!
Today I was out flying, testing the new EFB and I must say I'm really impressed with it. However, I've been digging through the settings trying to figure out if it is possible to change the labels of other aircraft that are loaded from Vatsim. Currently, this is how it looks:
That aircraft has EWG3L as its callsign on Vatsim, which is actually EuroWings. I understand that it might be vPilot using the Apollo livery to represent the aircaft, but it'd be much nicer to have the callsign. If it is possible to edit this, I appreciate a pointer on how to do it.
Edit: it seems to do it correctly for some aircraft, but not for other. In this screenshot, the TUI is actually a TUI aircraft, but it isn't showing the callsign:
Thanks!

I've had this problem on and off a few times now, but this is the only time it has actually been 100% repeating and reproducible. Today I installed some Drzwiecki Design demo airports, and as such I ran the scenery data update from the menu in the DataProvider. The DisplayUnit was not running at this time.
It started fine, I could see it scanning through the folders, then it just suddenly stopped and closed. DataProviderLogfile.txt show nothing that I can use to piece out the error, but I have attached it anyhow. I have also attached the second log file from today, which is a bit bigger.
Any help is appreciated.

Profile for the 747-8i and -8F
in EFB v2 - Support forum

With the release of the pmdg 747-8 passenger and freighter models, we're going to need an EFB profile. Because weights differ from the 747-400, that data probably won't work. Is there any form for data I can provide to help you produce a profile?
