But when I'm flying in the sim I should be able to use the shortcut key to bring the display unit into view... without having to use the window key to be able to access my tool bar to click on the display unit icon ?

I only used the numbers on the alpha keyboard. The display unit changes to the requested key input... but stays hidden...behind the sim... I have to Windows key then click the display unit... I have tried bring the display unit forward using the short cut keys but still no luck... thanks for the quick replied

When I hit one of the numbered key the window dissapers. Then I have to open it again to choose the next option then it dissapers again.... no conflicting keys

I have my flight log screen on in the display unit.... the only shortcut key I can get to work is " show on screen menu" which gives me a pop up window with numbered options.

Hi I can't get my short cut keys to work properly. I have ctrl+shift+x to open the moving map when I'm in sim. I have ctrl+f6 to hide it. It will work once and hide.. but try to open it again and it does not happen... any ideas please?

Sorry i thought i had set up a signature with my full name, guess i did not do it right.
As the blue text states " the display unit IS on the same computer as the data provider "

When im in the sim i am trying to use the shortcut keys and they dont work, the enable shortcut check box is checked. also when i create a route and i put the cursor over Arrival Airport tab it says ' abnormal checklist '

I can read!!!! and I manually inserted the paths and it still did not work as in #6 I put the latest beta on and manually inserted the same paths and it worked.

Updated to the new beta version and it works great now. Had to manually inserts the paths

I give up.... everything looks correct. Tried reinstall and reset up following the pdf. Still same problem. Oh well

Hi all I'm using p3d v3 and the latest trial version of EFB When I try to create a flight plan it says cannot find airport Icao.
I'm not sure if it's because p3d is installed in C:/ rather than c:/programmefilesX86
I have done some Web research but no luck and followed installation manual.
Any ideas please

Ah I think I'm using full screen. That could be my problem. Many thanks I will double check????
