  1. Hi,

I've been using EFB v1 and have been very happy with it.

I've just installed the trial version of v2 and it looks good. One major issue I'm having is that I have 2 monitors, a 34" screen which windows has as primary and a secondary 17" screen which I have the EFB and other applications loaded on.

My issue is that the EFB is loading up the dialogue windows on my primary screen even though it's positioned on the secondary screen. This makes is practically unusable as my head is turning 90 degrees to switch between the two screens.

v2 seems to be based on lots of dialogue windows for pretty much everything.

Is there a way to fix this?

    Thanks

  2. Just moved over to P3d v3 and for the most part the EFB works fine. Is anyone else able to get the traffic to show on the map? I have it configured and ATC shows up but the Traffic Icon on the moving map is greyed out for me.

Just wondering if this is the EFB itself or a configuration setting on my computer.

    Thanks

  3. Hi,

as per the forum rules, please sign your post with your real first name. Thanks.

There is a solution for the situation when the DataProvider cannot be ticked in the installers window. Please search for "tweakFS" in this forum. TweakFS is a free tool which sets the required data strings for an FSX installation to the registry. Usually this is done by the FSX installer itself. If this information is not found in the registry, the EFB installer thinks that no FSX is installed on that system and therefore it does not allow to install the DataProvider.

Apologies for not signing my name.

I didn't say in my original post but I'm using Prepar3d Only. Does the tweak FS fix still apply? From the UI it seems to be FS only. Also, I'm trying to install 1.51 which is the latest I think?

    Thanks,

    John
