Hey Together,
installed 1.6.5 on win10 x64 with p3d v3 and it works perfectly. You only have to chosse the path`s to p3d v3 folders and also scenery.cfg and everything works perfect.
i will now start a 5 hours flight from LTBA to OMDB and report back.

Update:
Everything went well the only thing that didn`t work was the Traffic i connected to VATSIM but the efb didn`t show me the other traffic. even if i could see that there was a plane right in front of me when i was approaching omdb i couldnt see it in the efb screen.

after 10 years of FSX i was not aware that the scenrey.cfg is not in the fsx main folder

Hey,
are there any plans to support FSX Steam Edition?
I have allrady installed the FSX SE edition and data provider connects without problems.
but when i try to create the run the scenery data update in the data provider efb dosent find the scenery.cfg

hey urs,
thank you for your input. i thougt about what you wrote and realy the only difference was that on windows7 i installed the qualcomm atheros killer network manager for my killer e2200 network card.
After i disabled the complete network connection the data provider connected without problems.
And when i completley deaktivated the qualcomm network manager i could reactivate my network card and data connector worked without problems.
I can not image why the network manager tool seems to have an impat on EFB but i`m happy that i works.
So if anybody has a similar problem. check if you have any network traffic optimizing tools installed or try to disable your network card when you use a single pc efb installation.

Hey,
i moved back from win8.1 to win 7.
Today i installed the EFB (everything on one machine) and i tried a lot of things but everytime i start the displayunit i get a unhandled expetion and then the data provider shows :
Warning - Connection to 127.0.0.1 terminated, caused by: TimeoutSND
I already tried to re install 3 times (run as admin and without run as admin), i uninstalled norton internet security, disabled windows firewall, uninstalled .net framework 4 and 3. Re installed via Windows Features the 3.5.1 Version , updated to the newest version after that.
Now i have no ideas left what to do
I hope you can help me. Everything worked absolutely fine under win 8.1 and i thought it`s a no brainer under windows 7. The Display Unit is throwing the following .NET Framework Message:
