  1. Hi Urs

Pleased to report that I now have the new flight plan exports working for Airbus and VPilot.

I had occasion to have to reinstall windows 7 recently and I think perhaps one of the anti-virus programs I had at that time may have blocked the new dll files in some way or perhaps windows defender, as I now have both switched off and EFB now runs with the new additional export formats.

  2. Hi Urs

Thanks for that I have installed the dll file in the plugins directory but after restarting the data provider and display unit there doesn't seem to be any new option to save in the new format. I also had the same problem when updating the recent Airbus installer.

All files seem to be in the correct locations but as I say I don't see any new saving formats in the options.

    Cheers

  3. Hi Urs

Opening up the load dialogue in Vpilot there is no option to load a *.sbp and the file is not recognised. However changing the file name of the file you attached to

KMEMKORD01.sfp allows VPilot to import the data, I'm not sure if this is all the data but the first screen shot illustrates what was loaded into VPilot.

The second screenshot is one of a recent flight plan I used from my VA dispatch which was in *.sfp format for comparison as to the information that is imported including flight times, enroute times, fuel available times, cruise speed and additional imported remarks.

    Cheers

  4. Hi Urs

The plans I can currently export to Vpilot are *.sfp plans. I have never used Squawkbox as a client for connecting to Vatsim but the *.sfp files are recognised as a format that can be opened under "Squawkbox Flight Plans" within the drop down menu of Vpilot itself.

To illustrate I have attached a couple of screenshots. Firstly, an example of the formats I can export to VPilot that are produced by my virtual airline dispatch and secondly, the dialogue box that appears within VPilot to select the flightplan to import.

    Thanks

  5. Hi Urs

As far as I'm aware VPilot can read squawkbox flight plans, I think they are SFP files, the other format that can be opened from the option menu seems to be "VPilot" format, I am unsure what the actual file format of these are though.

I also read that other formats from other programs such as FS Build and PFPX use SB3 and SB4 Formats which seem to be understandable and exportable to VPilot.

FsInn and SB4 also seem to be widely supported formats for VPilot export and indeed a format I currently use to export plans from one of the virtual airlines I am a member of.

I don't think FSX pln plans can be directly read by VPilot.

So all that seems to be needed is the correct export format from EFB which is readable to VPilot, which may be much easier said than done :D

    Thanks

  6. Hi

Over the last couple of days I seem to be having a problem in not having any TRFC data provided within any of the maps, all settings seem to be fine but no online data seems to be provided as it was a matter of days ago. I think there was a message within the main program (a yellow warning line that appears at the bottom of the display unit window) that data was not being provided from the AivlaSoft server.

    Any help would be appreciated

  7. Hi

Thanks for your replies. Yes I knew there was something wrong with the scenery somewhere as I had added and taken out a few areas over the last few days and was also using a scenery editor.

To cut a long story short I'm in the process of reinstalling FSX and happy to say that all the airports I mentioned that weren't there are now back after a new scan with the data provider

Sometimes it gets confusing after all the airport add ons, scenery add ons, ground services, aircraft etc etc

  8. Hi

Is there a way to add airports into the database, for instance LIRF, LOWS and EDDN seem to be unrecognised codes?

Strangely, I now see that LEBL is now unrecognised but I am sure I used EFB a few weeks when flying that route.

Perhaps there is a problem with my configurations somewhere?

I have the latest AIRAC 1408 installed

    Thanks

  9. Hi

Thanks for your reply, I had just actually noticed I had them in the wrong directories after I restudied the documentation and was coming on to post an update :D

Everything is working well now, it is a great product.

As for the errors, if that is an external problem then I know it's not something in my setup.

    Thanks again

  10. Hi

I have been trying to set up for Vatsim but I keep getting the following error in the online data settings section (Invalid definition data):

I've updated the most recent zip file from the AvilaSoft website and they all seem to be in the correct folders:

    EFB1_zps243cd047.jpg~original

I also installed the IVAO information from the IVAO zip to see if that would work and it seems to be working fine and displays the FIR borders and ATC that is online

    EFB3_zpsa5ae52af.jpg~original

Although I did notice the following when connected with the IVAO settings:

    EFB4_zpse166e548.jpg~original

I am unsure what is causing the IVAO problem above but at least it does connect and show the ATC online and FIRs

Any help or advice would be appreciated

    Iain
