Hi Leo,
why so angry? It's not EFB that creates the mess ... Did you check that there are really no more unwanted files on the hard disk which could have an impact? I'm pretty sure EFB will work as expected on a properly cleaned system.
Hi there,
I'm not angry, just getting very frustrated.
Which unwanted files would you like me to look for?
I removed everything FSAerodata.
Is there anything else that impacts on EFB?
And yes I did run the DbBuilder as always after changing Scenery.

Having the same problem. After removing all FSAerodata from my pc,(removed all mentioning of FSArodata from registry) I'm still not getting ILS data on loads of Airports where I used to get ILS-es.
This program used to work perfectly in the past but now getting very annoying.
I will install a previous version 2.058 and see if that will work.
If not I'll go looking for something else.

How do I change the runway length from meters to feet in the EFB Client?

Sorry, my bad.
Found it.

Hi there,
Is there a possibility to open the client on another display?
I've got 2 displays that I use for FS and had EFB v1 always open up on a third display but it only wants to open on my first display.
How can I change it to open on 3rd display?
Looking great BTW.

Hi Leo,
did you also activate the "TRFC" option on the 'chart objects menu bar'?
Try to reduce to 10% for GA traffic and Airliners. Try to reduce all other settings (ships, boats etc.) to 0%.
Hi Urs.
It's still not showing any traffic on the map.
Not to worry, new version coming out soon will see what happens then.
It might even be a Global Traffic problem, maybe it doesn't broadcast the planes or something like that.

Hi Leo,
do you mean the check boxes in the settings, or do you mean the 'button' on the 'chart objects menu bar'?
Maybe it is also an issue with SimConnect. Try to reduce the amount of AI traffic to be displayed to a minimum (just to see whether it works). If it works, try to slightly increase the amount of traffic.
Hi Urs,
I mean the check boxes in settings/charts/traffic. (AI/Multiplayer traffic and online traffic)
Reduced traffic from 50% to 20% but makes no difference.

Hi there,
I've got Global traffic installed which shows up nicely in the scenery but it does not show up on the display unit.
All traffic boxes are ticked but not showing.
Is there a solution for this or is Global traffic too new to get recognised by EFB?

When running simulator scenery updater would it be possible to have an option to scroll back through the list to see if there are any problems?
At the moment it flies through everything and can only press okay when finished and I cannot see what or if there are any problem to correct.

Hi there,
I have been using your program for some time now and are very happy with it, it is a great add-on.
However, I found lately that maps and scenery not always looked the same, meaning I could be on taxiway in my cockpit but showing on the grass on the map.
So I decided it was time for and update, but now I can't get the program to work anymore.
Full admin right, using P3dv3.2,updated from v1.6.6 to v1.6.8.
Is there something I've done wrong here? Should I have stayed away from update?
Does this mean a new install and the not update to 1.6.8?
-
Hi Leo,
although you are not running FSX, SimConnect is still required. SimConnect is the interface to FSX and P3D. The exception message which you have received means that EFB cannot find the required "Simconnect.dll" on your computer. Maybe you should visit the P3D forum to figure out which version of SimConnect is required for P3D v3.1 and where you can get the installer for it.
Thanks Urs,
I've got it running.
Don't ask me how, as I am in the process of a complete re-install of P3Dv3.1 and everything else.
Regards
Leo

Why o why, do I keep getting the above message?
I do not run FSX.
I've looked through all the posts in this forum but am not getting any wiser.
It used to be such a great program to install, but now I'm not so sure.
I'm running p3dv3.1 is that maybe the cause of all this?
Because of this carry on I decided to do a complete re-install of P3D.
But am still getting this error message.
Is there a solution for this??
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging

Will give that a go, thanks.
In the mean time I'll just have to click on airport info in EFB where it will give me the details I need. ie ILS freq, heading, elev etc.
WOW, just running the navaid installer you mentioned and it give me quite a list of conflicts.
Looking at it it's 99% ORBX files on there.
Will start re-installing them.
Thanks
