Yes I always use Admin Rights for all applications

 

I fixed my problem changing  value in the registry. I found a video explaining how to solve this issue

Ok Here are the information requested

 

Simulator: FSX Gold Edition

 

Scenery Provider + version: 1311 update for the default O'Hare airport. file KORD_102513.zip

 

NAVDATA provider and version: NAVIGRAPH AIVLASOFT_1401v3

 

No SID avilable in AIVlasoft

I would like to understand why sometime I do not have access to SID/STAR and or APPROACH in Availasoft after installing airport scenery.

 

There is something that I do not understand in the way Availasoft is working.

 

Is ther a place where I can find informations about this topic

The problem was the firewall . The display Unit was blocked by the firewall.

 

I forgot to check this setting. Very stupid from my side.

 

Now it is OK and I can access NOAA without any problem.

Yes I can see a yellow circle and an error message in the status bar on the lower left side of the DisplayUnit when the message appears "METAR currently not available

My problem is that I do not have any connexion with NOAA at all

 

With an flight plan CYUL - CYYC activated

 

I click CYUL ground, METAR, There is a yellow line appearing with information Loading weather data

 

It takes about 2 minutes waiting before I receive the message METAR IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE

 

And it is exactly the same message I always receive whatever the city I am requesting

 

weather provider is set to : ONLINE FROM NOAA

 

If I select a city in the Route Airport window, it is always the same answer I am receiving: Loading weather data, METAR IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE

But I think the problem is somewhere else.

 

My plane is based in MOntreal CYUL and and I always get no success to get NOAA metar connexion for cities like Toronto CYYZ or Boston KBOS or anyelse other Cities

 

It is not a question of Cities but something between Aivlasoft and NOAA connexion.

Yes the scenery I have problem with is Cairo 2011 from VATEG

 

I have uninstalled Cairo2011 from VATEG

 

I have installed the file you have recommande: fx_heca_ade_mb_rs.zip

 

But I can not see runways 23C both on FSX and on Display unit.

Yes of course I have run the data provider update.

 

So from my FSX software when I landing HECA I can see 3 runways ( 23L, 23C, 23R ) but from my Display unit only 23L and 23R appears.

 

Somebody told me that it is not possible to add a new runway in the Aivlasoft sofware.  I do not understand why. If I add a new scenery in FSX and it works, I should get the same thing in the DisplayUnit Aivlasoft.

I downloaded and installed a new scenary for HECA airport ( Cairo2011) on my FSX. This scenary add a new runway to this airport ( 05C/23C).

 

I would like to know how to proceed to allow Aivlasoft to display this new runway. I can not find any change on the Aivlasoft when I am looking the informations on HECA

 

I have adjusted the file runways.txt with the new list of runways but without any success.
