Hi  been using  the  trial version now  for  2  days   and  have  a  question  on the  ip  address,   I  got  my  client  on  my  lap  top  and  server  on my  main,   question  is  that the  first  day  I set  my  ip   in the  client   and  had  no  issues  that  day.  Next  day  started   and  found  out  my ip  had   changed    and  couldn't  find  a way   to  change it  in the  client  without  doing the  uninstall/  reinstall option  put  in the  new  ip  and  had  no  issues   in  using  efb2

Just installed the full installer and now everything back to normal

Hi just been experincing this for the past couple of days. When i select route finder and enter my destination and arrival airports it comes up with the flight plan etc. When i click the ok buton i get the error saying could not read route finder the following error occured import string was not in a correct format. I tired the other tabs flight plan and importing flight plans had no errors only using route finder. Sorry about the double post just saw other post about this so you can delete this topic if you want to

Hi just wondering since do i need to download the patch since my version of the display unit is 1.3.2.26442 and the version of the data provider is 1.3.2.26445

Think hopefully i solved my problem i hope wont know till i done a few more flights. As the previous post suggested were right being making sure that both were poiting to the same folder in which case they were. The only difference was that i had another folder inside the folder where fsx saves its flight plans that where i had it pointing not to the actual fsx folder itself. So in other words i was pointing to a sub directory not the actual directory. Anyway hope its fixed is the main thing.

thx for your quick they both point to the same folder since that what i had thought so any other ideas before i uninstall and reninstall again or is there something that iam missing, as soon as i activate the flight plan it comes up with the error, if i ignore it it still works i dont save the flight plans any way since rather use different routes all the time

Hi been trialing the demo before i bought the package and had no dramas with it till now after i had bought the package. The version i got now is 1.3.2.26442 and so far it seems to be working the flight plan etc. the problem is that everytime i load a flight plan i get in the data provider in the last entry an error saying exceptiuon from fsx received load_flightplan_failed. As i pointed out everything seems to be working except i get this error.

Hi again think i have worked it out ok if the display unit is in the background behind fsx and when i press the f11 key it brings it up in the fsx as it should, but when the display unit is in the bottom task bar it doesnt come up when i press the f11 key. so you can close this thread as being solved if this is the way it suppose to work but iam happy to go by this way since now i know how it works now. thx for your timely response and will be purchasing this product in the next day or 2 thx again

Do you mean the FSX internal EFB-menu which allows you to select from several menu items?

 

Ok thx for your reply yes when the menu appears on the fsx screen what suppose to happen when you select an option, what happens when i select any option is that the menu box disappears from the fsx screen and nothing comes up. although when i bring up the display unit manually from the task bar the option that i made has been done. Its no big deal if it still works ok

Hi all, just testing the demo out and so far i got everything to work but got 2 questions.

1. In the install docs it says you need to put your port number in but i didnt do this and everthing still works so wonder if iam missing some thing here?

2. When using the panel inside fsx i get the panel showing but when i select any option the box disappears, and nothing happens, when i press the f11 short cut key nothing happens either. the only way i can bring up the display unit is to select it from the bottom task bar when in windowed mode. this isnt a hassle since its probably quicker this way than pressing the f11 key.
